>have a class of middle schoolers at summer camp
>want to teach them something different
>brainstorm ideas with videos, use games and quizzes all the time
>they get bored and start calling their parents
>get calls from HR
>"you need to step up your game and keep students engaged, anon, i know you can do it"
>try to change my lesson plan and make them do some physical activities with some english mixed in
>fatass director rushes in and yells at me because apparently physical activities were forbidden
>get another call from HR
>"anon, we got many complaints from parents, my boss just told me 'I can't believe you're going to ruin our reputation because you hired the wrong teacher!', you have to do something about it otherwise I will be forced to give you bad references"
>next day
>revise my plan again, make it 90% stupid quizzes "guess the logo, guess the game, guess the icon, guess the song" and 10% english and occasionally ask students questions in english
>get no calls from HR
>kids have fun
>i feel like i wasted my time and energy to entertain a bunch of retards who don't want to learn english at all
i'm never working for this fuckass "international english academy" again
