>>85259982I assumed OP is buying the quest specifically for playing VRChat standalone. It's fine for PCVR but not as ideal as a dedicated PCVR headset like what the frame will be. Especially with the eye tracking and foveated streaming features, it would make VRChat better. Quest 2 or oculus rift used are cheap nowadays. They're bulkier and worse screens than the quest 3 or the steam frame but for just trying VR they work well. I've heard some people even managed to find used quest 3's for $200.VRChat isn't as demanding as people think as well, unless you play in worlds that have 20+ people with high quality avatars rendered at the same time while having the best screen resolution, that's when it requires a RTX 4090 graphics card.A PC with high end components released after late 2018 will work well at low settings, maybe even higher.
