You can do a one card reading for yourself each day which will help you memorize what each card represents, and you can look up more complicated card layouts as you go along. You can also make up your own layouts if you want. I don't know how good it'll be in helping you talk to women. That's initially why I got into it, but I still don't have the courage to talk to women about it. Kinda a fun hobby though

Also the meaning of each card can change once you get into spreads that include multiple cards. I haven't really read much of any books on tarot, just a few excerpts from pdfs you can find online. I would recommend you start out with the original Rider-Smith tarot deck, as other decks may include or exclude things that are considered important in understanding the cards. You can start out with a different tarot deck, but you should still look at the original card when learning about it
