People have already began to realize how boring internet, video games and social media is becoming so some begin to use it less. I have no idea how an adult human being can still be hooked to tiktok, Instagram etc. How do they not just view everything there as retarded and obnoxious. I browse 4chan maybe 5 hours a week, and have a few week video game phase every few months when the couple good games that exist release new content. I'll probably buy GTA6, but haven't had trust in any company in the industry for several years now, I'm thinking of conditioning myself out of gaming entirely in the next couple of years. Everyday I feel more and more detached from the people that pretend all principles should be given up for what you most desire.

League of Legends released in 2009 I believe Counter Strike is ancient Fortnite is a late 2010's game, DayZ and Rust are still popular so is Hearthstone and WoW. Deleting everything is a simple solution to decreasing the amount of attention and value you assign to these things. When you use a minute to scroll some shit on your phone or computer, or even have the urge to do so, your attention is momentarily directed towards those things, and a portion of your active reasoning and creative thinking is blocked. These things nudge your brain and physical behavior in a way most people wouldn't like to admit. It's like spinning a slot machine, which is arguably like hooking your brain into a machine that periodically loads your brain with sensations like good smells or tastes. And that is literally how I view my past behavior in regards to these things, like pulling out a glue from your pocket and sniffing it throughout the day.

When I was a child I played FFX on release but my dad bought it in French and to this day like probably at least 50% of French I know (very basic) is from playing it. Also lots of historical games taught me about history. Simcity taught me how to be a major. WoW auction house taught me the skill of reselling and monopolizing the market. MMORPGs in general taught me about leadership like managing a guild and things like virtual currency before crypto was a thing.
