Why do some people like to argue when you turn them down romantically efficiently, respectfully, and early?

No amount of arguing will make me attracted to you if I'm not. "Bantz" as a strategy only works if there's a baseline attraction already

I've never done that myself, but "Why do people get upset in obviously upsetting situations? Why don't they have perfect control over emotions at all times?" isn't much of a question.

I guess I can understand being a bit sad, but typing out long messages or emails to do a back and forth just wastes everyone time.
Just listen to music or something, other fish in the sea

Do you have low self-esteem or feel as though you might not have many options? That probably fuels most of those negative reactions. They likely either hate themselves already and so rejection hits a nerve, or they feel as though they have few options for whatever reason (disabilities for example) and feel like every lost opportunity might have been their last chance. Or both.

Your imaginary friends hitting on you isn't real btw

Yeah that's great advice man.

Hmm... I mean it's possible that's it? I know I have a lot more options than most people, and a lot of it is because I worked on myself a ton.
Most of the things people sexually select on are changeable though, so if they are the upset with the amount of options they have, they can just change the less appealing aspects of themselves that they can change.

They really shouldn't get their heart broken on the second or third message when we're barely starting to exchange info. They didn't even know I existed a few days ago.

Maybe it's to make sure that she's actually rejecting you rather than fake rejecting you?
Or maybe it's to make it less awkward.
But yeah, that's a popular beginner mistake.
But if you take a very experienced smooth talker and specifically ask them to argue over a rejection, I think they'll make it sound fun and entertaining, or something, they'll leave the situation smoothly. So how do they learn that? Maybe by doing stupid mistakes in the beginner phase?

What's "Bantz"?

There a common ego to feel like the world is your oyster, and when reminded it's not, you cope.

I'd say it makes things awkward when they weren't before
>bantz
Picrel, I suspect they could be trying to play-fight back of something, but it doesn't work if the rejection is real, or especially if the message can be read as butthurt instead of playful

Depends on if the physical and emotional attraction is there, but because of others larpsAndlies we lost each other. Naturally together without them we complete each other.
