I made this thread to commemorate all the innocent, fallen males and females throughout history. Whether you; died as a slave in Ancient Egypt or a suicide at 32, perhaps old age in a retirement home. Maybe you were murdered or died purely through an accident like a car crash. Whatever happened to end your life, doesn't really matter to me. I know the majority of humans are lost to time, merely dust at this point. Forgotten, disregarded, long gone. I want to take this opportunity to say if you lived a well intentioned, innocent and loving life, I'm sad you died.We can't live forever and I certainly don't believe in an afterlife but I do hope the dead find peace. I just want the soldiers in trenches to know I really am sad they died even if I didn't know them and never will. Life is too cruel. I often cry for you.RIP

Nothingness seems reassuring. It would be nice if our life had more meaning however. I just can't buy into it though.
