>fail upwards in my career just by being confident and working hard>fail upwards in hobbies just by being confident and working hard>fail upwards in social events just by being confident and working hard>meteorically fuck up personal relationships from second guessing everythingi feel like a child in an adults body. i can larp this real world nonsense easy but i still cant bond with people. how i succeed in one world and ruin the other is insane
why can't you just succeed at personal relationships by being confident and working hard?
>>85266186because people arent something you can just work hard on
>>85266169working hard has nothing to do with itconfidence and larp is how you win in clown worldcompetence can be a handicap because it means you notice mistakes and clear pitfalls rather than just stampeding along blindly going from one thing to the next and devouring resources like a swarm of locusts
>>85266209i would disagree. competence is important, and so is working hard. i think i do better than my contemporaries in because i invest myself more... but the reason why i invest more is sad. i put 120% into anything i apply myself into because most people just do work, hobbies, etc as gaps between time they spend with loved ones. and i dont have that. i dont think the doomer mindset of stampeding along really applies much when it comes to careers unless you mean sociopathic C-suite level managerial battles.
