Is your YouTube feed just full of shit you do not want to watch?
>>
>>85268446
that cock stuck in your mind too?
>>
>>85268446
This guy named asmongold is constantly on there.

No because I don't have a YouTube Sneed.
>>
>>85268474
Okay stupid frog is that why you dont use it
>>
>>85268446
I reset my viewing history occassionally, which helps. I also avoid shorts. It's funny to see the difference between the cleared history recommendations and the shit you get when you've clicked on a few videos outside what you usually watch
>>
>>85268486
No, YouTube got boring as soon as people decided to "make content" to be YouTubers. Their shitty woke algorithm certainly is a deterrent from ever giving it another chance though.
>>
>>85268595
>No, but umm yes

Stupid frog
>>
>>85268474
But frogman, you didn't have the cheese I wanted
>>
>>85268446
From time to time i make a cleanse of niggers and foids and i get good enough recommendations again. I dont even click on those videos because their voices are irritating or unintelligible but youtube still promotes them to me. But yea, besides some turbo autists with no self awareness who make unintentional comedy, youtube is just recycled slop. I only use it because the other platforms are way worse.
>>
>>85268446
Not really. The trick is to watch any and all lower viewed videos you can. That way you filter out all the normieshit
>>
>>85268446
Yeah, and it seems like it's pushing slop on me more in the last month or so, especially
>>
>>85268446
Youtubes algorithm has been fucking dogshit for ages, it affects youtube shorts too which is why no one uses it. Both the front page and search function of youtube are pathetic.
>>
>>85268595
Youtube got boring when all the videos look exactly the same format, exactly the same shit. I just use it for music now. I don't want to watch some dickhead going on for half an hour to two hours about some horse shit topic.
>>
>>85268626

My eyes get more and more raped the more I see any thumbnail at this point because they just look batshit insane
>>
>>85268446
Be you
Turn on search history so Google can monetize you and then give you terrible recs
Be me
Never turn in history because fuck Google

Even if they didn't force the woke algorithm onto every user, it's very unlikely I would enjoy the website. I didn't like PewDiePie or Markiplier or YouTube poops or MLG or any of that shit. The only time YouTube was tolerable as a website was back when viral memes were one offs and not monetized, like the "theoretical millionaires" in that one South Park episode.
>>85268620
I don't know that reference.
>>85268636
So yeah when people actively decided to "make content" like I said. It basically became a vlog site. Which is funny because blogs were the worst part of the early internet, so they decided to reboot it for a modern audience like they do with everything else in current culture.
>>
>>85268446
I don't pay attention to it. I only watch ashens, techmoan, and avoidingthepuddle car chases.
>>
>>85268446
No I actually have trouble picking a video and sometimes when I exit a video and it refreshes I'm like damn I wanted to watch all of those

My feed is just too good so much entertaining interesting stuff
>>
>>85268446
I don't like having a youtube feed, I don't follow anyone, have the history turned off. Well I don't even watch youtube videos, maybe 2 videos a month, rest is just random music. It just started feeling like some passive mind porn that just overloads my senses with random visuals and monkey noises no matter the type of video.
>>
>>85268814
even the types of videos I would search up now just register to me as some guy talking buzzwords about generic ideas that are meant to sustain their position as a youtuber
>>
>>85268446
My YouTube recommended is just
>shit I already watched but YouTube gaslights me into believing I didn't and wants me to rewatch
>content creator making a wannabe niche video and trying too hard
>video (essay) made by a normalfag trying to explain a topic relating to le epic 4chan
>unfunny flavour of the month meme video
>le I'm playing old vidya game aren't I cool
I rarely find anything worth watching but when I do there is like a two week long cooldown until something new and good is posted/recommended.
>>
>>85268446
Idk when youtube implemented the current algorithm but i feel like i could spend hours watching random shit on yt and actually enjoying myself back when the algorithm was totally different. Maybe its just nostalgia.
>>
>>85268446
No i've trained it to finally understand what I want
>>
>>85268446
Don't rely on algorithms. Take control of your time.
>>
>the retrospective analysis into foreskin cheese-a deep dive

let me watch anime reviews and old documentaries you fucking kikes
>>
>>85268446
Mine is complete dogshit and I don't know how to fix it. Problem is I have a bunch of different interests but I also have extremely specific taste in what videos I watch. Youtube is the opposite and think if you watch one video on a topic you must want to see every video on the topic. I'd rather watch multiple videos from the same channel than the same topic.
>>
>>85268446
no. my algorithm is carefully curated. it's all shitposts, old video game stuff, guitar stuff and swords. git gud, anon. and alvvays remember to use "do not recommend channel" on any dogshit video essays youtube pushes on you. it's your god given right
>>
>>85268446
Yeah and it's vaguely related to maybe what I do want to watch so it's like... trying to guess your interests by showing you random shit you definitely don't want.
This is how sales work in 2026... just shove shit in your face until you give up on the modern internet.
>>
>>85268446
I'm getting bored of youtube. Something changed with the algorithm around 24.

Now I watch one fucking science themed video and get endless recommendation of onions faces going "OMG THIS NEW DISCOVERY CHANGED THE WAY SCIENCE IS THOUGHT ABOUT!"
>>
>>85268446
whenever im not using the youtube app on my phone i get retarded fucking polls or slop media ive never subscribed to and can't skip/do not recommend the channel like i can with the videos so im forced to see the same faggots over and over because i maybe clicked one poll half a year ago. Charles somespicshit is one of the poll people i keep getting, i also get jeetslop and third world media shit all the time, something called nowthis and novaro media always show up in posts.
>>
My Youtube feed is pretty damn good. Seems like a you problem.
>>
>>85269553
Yeah I know, same... I was rounding up this huge group of tabs with a bunch of actual, real science lectures and talks, started years ago... when I go back to those tabs, it's like the recommendations went full retard -- I built the tabs from the old recs! But now it's just ALGOFACEWOWYOUWONTBELIEVERS...

So tiresome.

I feel sorry for all the groups trying to put out quality educational content online -- just getting flooded by attention seeking narcissists trying to make a quicker buck.
>>
>>85268865
for me
>tons of 5-10 minute political videos ragging on the left
>e-drama and vtuber drama
>asmr videos
>gardening videos that literally all go over the same surface level gardening advice every single time
>surface level cooking videos
>woodworking and home improvement videos that use to fuel my fantasy but now just remind me that I'm a broke loser NEET that will never even have the balls to try and live off grid
>clickbait le science will never be the same
>zoomer doomer videos
>>
>>85269498
>use "do not recommend channel"
This! So much this!
Clicking "not interested" doesnt seem to do shit thoughever
>>
>>85269601
ugh, i love magdalena bay. youtube has been pretty okay for music discovery
>>
>>85269674
Ha I watched like ten different live performances of The Beginning today, so I'm pretty sure that's where that recommendation came from
