I am a newborn of almost 20 little years, and I get sad when I remember my first year of high school and my ninth year of middle school. Thinking that these memories are already so distant, both in terms of my life situation, my emotions, and relatively speaking (they are 1/4 and 14/20 away from the present, respectively), makes me kind of sad. Besides the fact that most of the memories are kind of bad, the worst part is realizing that time is passing. In school, time felt like it was infinite, so it's slightly scary to think that it isn't. Furthermore, I realize that the world has more layers, and I feel the need to see myself less as someone made to watch anime all day and more as a project to be built, or rather, the being who completes the projects he himself wants to complete, with the responsibility resting on his own shoulders. The difference between this and Sartre is that if I become a wagie, instead of free, I'll be trapped in my cagie.
