>youtube has a "ask youtube" AI button in the search bar now
So, about that "AI bubble pop" I kept hearing about....
>>
>>85269978
the 'AI bubble' concept is largely pushed by liberal/leftwing posters on reddit. They're in a stage of grief called denial.
>>
>>85269978
If the AI can actually help me find a fucking video we might have a good use case for AI because the god damn search sure can't
>>
>>85270005
doubt it, their normal search algorithm is purposefuly designed to make people look at the most clickable videos
why would the LLM be different?

Waiting for AI to be profitable
>>
>>85270994
AI doesn't need to be profitable. This isn't about profit. It is about power. Who controls AI controls more than just mere profits, they're above the game of economies. They're a new economy.
>>
>>85271015
What power? lol
>>
>>85271032
AI is not just about money. It is a tool for power. The groups or countries that control AI control the rules of the future. They shape how people think, work, and live. This makes them bigger than standard companies. They are building a new system of control.

The best part is when China does AI better, suddenly you're all in on AI.

lol this is true
like 9/10 redditors respond with that shit
>>
>>85269978
There's a button to bring up AI on any video. I use it any time a title baits me and the YouTuber starts edging instead of actually answering it: "Answer the title's question in a 100 words."
>>
>>85269978
the hyperscalers doubled down on AI capex during earnings calls
together they are going to be spending something like 900 billion dollars to build up ai infrastructure

>THE LEFT!!!
>LE REDDIT!!!
it must be so tiring living in a permanent state of obsession like you
>>
>>85272511
That is not obsession. You don't know who I am. You've only seen a few posts wherein I stated clearly what occurs on a website. That is obvious and repetitive. You're not addressing the points instead you attacked me. I hope your life gets better.
>>
>>85269978
Wow that ask ai button must be just printing billions of dollars to return money to shareholders
>>

I don't like AI in any of the capacities it's being shilled in. It's better off being used in niche scientific applications. When China "does AI better" I look at the chinks with disdain for training their AI via distillation. All they do is wait for Americans to pour hundreds of billions into RnD and then reap the rewards for a fraction of the cost. This strawman you all have in your head about "anti AI anti american liberal communists" is straight propaganda brainwashing you fucking imbecile cumstains

Point out where I wrote: "anti AI anti american liberal communists"

Because I never wrote that so who are you quoting?

I wrote:

"the 'AI bubble' concept is largely pushed by liberal/leftwing posters on reddit. They're in a stage of grief called denial."

And that is true.

In my other post I wrote:

"lol this is true

in response to:

"The best part is when China does AI better, suddenly you're all in on AI."

Which is true. A lot of liberal/left voting people are fully onboard with AI as long as China does it lol.

>>people using it have already greatly increased their productivity
The prevailing evidence is that AI has led to no significant increase in productivity for the overwhelming majority of businesses.
The vast majority of people also use the free version, even for business-use, which obviously burns money. The rate of paid subscriptions is around 2% of households, less than 10% the rate of the households who pay for Netflix. The AI market has to be 20x larger than Netflix still (significantly larger than the entire world's software market) to not collapse.
