i feel like the only thing that will cure my ADHDneetdom is a serious health issue or losing a family member which will force me to appreciate life

That's stuff's -not- gonna help you.
It's either going to dig you in deeper, or push you down a hole you may not be able to climb out from.

Don't look for salvation in tragedy, anon.

I understand how struggling ADHD can be

I think people really must understand it's a brain issue it's not a very curable condition

I think when normie say oh I have ADHD they don't understand that it is a disability
and I don't blame them for not understanding there's things I don't understand either

Constantly forgetting things
Constantly misplacing things
Constantly thinking things
Constantly over analyzing
Constantly ruminating
Constantly having trouble learning
Constantly not being able to focus on anything for more than a minute at a time
Constantly feeling like something's wrong that I'm not normal
Messes just appearing

Do you want to know what's helped me obviously there's therapy but that's expensive and sometimes insurance doesn't cover things

Guanfacine has helped
It target's memory more than stimulation so I definitely noticed I forget things less
The first few weeks are exhausting cuz it lowers blood pressure but after that it's like wow there's not a million cups on the table wow I can remember what I did 10 minutes ago

I've just got back on Adderall so hopefully that'll help with stimulation because I was listening to music like 12 hours a day but hopefully this combination does good

I think you would also be less of a disability yet there were more accommodations in society for people like us people who are different

There have been many people with our condition who have excelled and succeeded because they were given the right opportunities and tools and learn from an early age how to do things their own way and not feel like something's wrong we're not knowing how to do something a way someone's trying to force you to

Yeah unfortunately that's how retard ADHD brains work. Can't get anything done unless put in a life threatening situation. For me it was draining all my money on drugs until I was dead broke that gave me a push

adhd has become way too popular now so that every single person says they have it to the point that it devalues how awful it is and the people that actually struggle with it. Its not a disability anymore, its a quirk.

Definitely I think there's people that use it as an excuse to be lazy when their brain works just fine

nah you'll keep doing the bare minimum and procrastinating everything else until your life becomes a living hell and you kill yourself
that's what I intend to do!
