>have undiagnosed OCD
For example my latest thought is that my energy drink is somehow tampered
>whenever I google any of my thoughts. People agree with me that i should wash my hands again/throw away food/go to the hospital

That advice is usually for normal people who have occasional suspicions with a valid reason aka when in doubt throw it out, it doesn't really apply to people who are always or easily in doubt

Try and get diagnosed. Probably you are just just a regular type of suspicious and not just OCD.

fucking felt man. Any time I have any kind of suspicion that something is wrong I just don't even attempt to ask the internet . Its always "yeah you have cancer, or yeah go to the hospital immediately. I miss when I was a kid and my parents would just say "your fine" whenever I suspected something was wrong, now even they validate my paranoia
>>
>>have undiagnosed OCD
nigga fuck you with that "undiagnosed" nonsense. fuck you and fuck your supposed "undiagnosed 'OCD'"
>>
I am so sad cause the blindness scare

My dad has been battling OCD his entire life. He has these tics he hides from everybody. These repetitive movement he does and I always feel bad because growing up I always knew he was thinking some fucked up shit whenever they would happen when I learned about OCD

I think what ticks he does correlates to how bad the OCD thought is as well

Like if he was handling a knife he would do this one where he would like shrug his shoulders and then blink a few times

But if it was a day-to-day intrusive thought he would rub his nose and sniffle a bit

He would constantly clear his throat to the point where he would lose his voice. His OCD always was the worse than the morning.

In the moment when he's having an OCD attack there's not much I can do except help them out and he's learned how to sort his thoughts out pretty good. Learning to understand him made me know it's about prevention. Preventing anxiety prevents thoughts
