I think a big change has been what teenage girls look up to. In the 50s, teenage girls and young women screamed and threw themselves at Elvis. In the 60s they threw themselves and the Beatles and Rolling Stones. Early 70s they threw themselves at Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. They adored and admired male rock stars. Dreamed about them. Teenage boys would learn guitar if they wanted to get laid. Today, teenage girls look up to Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo and Megan the stallion and whatever. They look up to other women who play intensely sexual but very formulaic and girly pop music.

The place to be in the 60s was Paris. France in 1968 was mental. The youth of the country almost brought the nation to a halt. Completely changed the culture. It was about everything economics and culture and mostly sex.
