depends on the stim and depends on how your body reacts to it. adderall gave me the same kind of anxiety i get from too much coffee, but ritalin only makes me feel "moisturised and in my lane".

i'm taking the day off from ritalin and i'm delaying my coffee until later, since I plan to do an all-nighter. the brain slog is kinda depressing.

stims generally come with some degree of a "crash", but personally i only take a morning dose of IR and while I can tell when it wears off, it's barely noticeable and nowhere near as depressing as after having taken multiple doses. i think you have to weigh the benefits of it yourself, that's why i stick with the single morning dose.

Adderall and Ritalin both gave me terrible anxiety, if you're naturally an extremely anxious person try something like Strattera for adhd.

Enjoy it. It's maddening in itself knowing how bad all the racing thoughts are 24/7. It's like wearing gkasses for the first time and realizing that your eye sight was actually shit while you thought ut was good.

The bad part though is that Adderall isn't a 24/7 med. I really wish I responded well to non-stims like Strattera so I could get a stable baseline going and be on it 24/7. I have the one gene (CYP2D6) in which Strattera and Quelbee gave horrendous side effects, yet it didn't work with ADHD It helped anxiety though! Guanfacine did nothing except made me tired from low blood pressure (helps sleep though!). Wellbutrin just made my anxiety a lot worse.

I don't like the periods when I don't take it and having to deal with the loud thoughts. But I got to do the Adderall holidays or my tolerance goes up quickly. It's why I only take it for work or when I need to get something done at home and am having a bad case of task paralysis.

My doc has told me though about a new drug duri g my June appointnent that just got FDA approval I think a week or so ago called Simtriyo. It's still got to go through the DEA scheduling thing, since it is still a CNS stimulant. There's also the problem that it works on

That's provided you see a good Optometrist and are truthful on your tests. It's really essential because if yoyr measurements are wrong, you won't get a proper prescription. If you do get a proper one, then it's amazing to see the difference again. I can still see good, but the gkasses make it so much clearer.
