How hard is it to get a comfy remote job? Imagine being able to stay home , live in cheap quiet area and not have to dwell amongst normies?

I could move to middle of nowhere, get a cheap house and starlink and live carefree.

This question would be better suited on Reddit, the people there actually have jobs

It was easier to get a comfy WFH job during COVID.

Any decent one is extremely competitive. Everyone wants a remote job. They've declined significantly since COVID ended. The only ones that might be less competitive are where you're a customer support agent from your home. It has especially become hard for any entry-level job as those have just declined nationwide as the economy has declined and the job market is no hire/no fire.
It makes sense as companies will prefer workers who already live close by for regular jobs, but if it's remote, the search expands 1000-fold.

Pretty damn hard, they're going extinct.

I had one for a while, then RTO happened everywhere, and every new offer I get is at least 2-3 days in the office. I've been trying to get another one for 3 years
