Basically, someone is running a study on 4chan's romantic tastes. The fact they brought up wanting to develop an app makes me think they're trying to get a feel for communities like r9k with chronically online singles. The use of AI could just be for the sake of privacy and convenience but it could also suggest making a "dating" app that has AI generated partners and the like.
