Is anyone ever actually even mildly excited about getting a new smartphone these days? ;p
>>85276197The last time I got a new smartphone was 9 years ago, so I'm not really sure tbqh.
>>85276197I don't like spending money on anything. And same as other guy. PhOne is 8 years old and out of memory
>>85276197I wasn't even excited when I got my first one desu. I just remember feeling annoyed that I had to get rid of my old flip phone.
I got one last year and didn't expect much but it was enough of an upgrade that it pleased me. Previous one was from 2019 and already starting to brick itself. New one has better specs and lets me play gacha shit.
>>85276197The only issue I have with my current phone is the battery life. If I could easily swap in a new battery, I could probably go another decade without getting a new phone.
>>85276318I swapped in a battery in my g7 play. It was a pain in the ass and took a lot of blasts from the hair dryer but I got it apart. Off brand battery from Amazon. Came with tools and instructions. Under 20 dollars. My old battery would hold about 0-3% charge while saying 95%
>>85276197i have a tendency to tie sentimental value and empathy to objects for whateva raisin, but this doesn't extend to smartphones and idk why. i just see them as utility
>>85276340It's not worth the effort. Mine isn't that bad yet. When it gets there I'm just going to buy a secondhand phone off craigslist.
yeah, i'm thrilled every time. i've only used 3 different phones since 2011 though, lol
>>852762159 years? Yeah things have changed dramatically. It will be so much faster and smoother now.
Rabbit poster at it again...
>>85276197I was decently excited to get my new phone recently, since this is my first flagship. I enjoy it, but if I weren't bound by phone payment plans I would've gone shopping around. (My current phone is an S25 Ultra)
