I'm going to be 100% honest with you. For me it's not my looks, it's not hypergamy, it's not social media or anything else.

I'm simply the most boring guy ever, the most boring one I know at least. So maybe you're a boring guy to be around just like me, but you haven't realized yet

u have hobbies?

I thought if it you left this place

*thought you left
Damn

please don't. i liked it better when you lied to me

Yes, I have hobbies, and I also read quite a bit. I have my own small library with books on science fiction, history, philosophy, and other subjects. Some are mine, and others I've inherited.

But you're missing the point. Being boring it's not about what you do or what you like, but how you present yourself. I, for example, enjoy playing the piano, which to some people might sound "interesting."

But if a woman approached me and said: "Hey anon, I heard you play the piano" I would simply reply
>uhh... yes I do, why?
not because I'm rude or shy, but because I have zero charisma.

I can testify there are plenty of average looking guys, with seemingly "boring" hobbies, who are getting drowned in pussy only because they know how to present themselves to others. What I do not know is if said ability can be earned or you're born with it.

but you have enough self-awareness to understand that this is the wrong answer, which makes me think you do things like this on porpoise
>>

I don't know if it's because of the frog pic, or what I wrote, but you're confusing me with someone else.
>>
>>85276900
The trick is you don't need to be interesting, you just need to be able to convey boring things in an interesting way.

i agree with anon. you tell yourself you are boring which makes you subconciously present yourself as boring. some people may find you boring, everyone has different tastes in people. i sure some people would be interested by your book collection or piano but you are denying them the opportunity to decided if its boring or interesting by being dismissive. and at the end of the day, why care if strangers find you boring if that what you enjoy.

>why care if strangers find you boring if that what you enjoy.
this. there are benefits to appearing boring, like with coworkers, for example
>>
>>85276900
My problem is that I look like a kid and have a high pitched voice and people automatically judge me for it
>>
>>85277047
it's not wrong per se to answer that, but I get your point. But you have to consider that in the scenario I described, the interaction is spontaneous. If I knew a woman was eventually going to say something like that to me, I could think of a clever response beforehand. And even if you imagined several scenarios like that beforehand, you'd still have to be funny enough to come up with effective replies when the moment comes (and don't let the spaghetti fall out of your pockets).
>t. autism
no, surprisingly I'm autism free
>>85277064
this guy got my point
>>
>>85276900
For me it's that and also my looks. I've come to learn that I'm not boring in the sense that I have nothing to talk about or no personality. I'm boring because I'm shy and quiet. boring really just means = low energy and reserved.
>>
>>85277168
>this guy got my point
i'm not seeing anyone itt that missed your point. i think you just like that that one guy gave you minimal pushback, which kinda helps me understand why you present yourself as boring
>>
>>85277122
True, having a low self-esteem definitely affects how others see you. Is that the only factor that makes someone appealing to others? I think not, but it is necessary to take into account when thinking of your failures
>>85277259
maybe you're right, but in any case, I don't think my own personal experience is the main point of the thread. I only used it to make a more realistic example of someone who clearly fails for lacking charisma.

Since an abusurdly amount of robots here think their lack of success is due to looks, height or even women themselves, I thougth I could remind some of them that maybe they're either boring guys or outright assholes. Yeah there are many other factors and of course looks matter, but simply being a fun guy to be around weights more than any other metric I think.
