I never understood these people. Can you imagine caring about the political opinion of an actor? Ancient people used to see them as part of the same class as prostitutes and that seems much more sensible to me.

At least, when they're talented or beautiful, I can understand why people might gravitate towards them, but I have no understanding whatsoever as to why someone would care about royalty. The serf yearns for the fields, I suppose.
