I think I made a penpal!
We've emailed back and forth successfully now a few times.

The part where I spend literally 3 hours reading her email over and over, meticulously typing out a reply, pacing around the house trying to figure out ways to be more engaging but not invasive or uncomfortable, and the 20 times I re-read and re-type my reply over and over isn't as fun as I thought it would be though.
Still worth it however, I like having a female acquaintance.
