No known, respected entity realistically has the same kind of spark and charisma as Trump. His popularity is lower than any other president this far into a second term among Independents. The only thing keeping him from absolute death is he's still Trump, so his cult adores him. Vance/Rubio replacing him as President or the nominee will be catastrophically unpopular.The people in charge of the Republican party probably realize this. The economy and the state of the US is so bad in general, and it's gonna get a lot worse, so whoever the Democrats run will almost certainly beat Rubio/Vance (or even Trump), and it won't be close. This will be used as proof they need to shift much further right, someone only barely not identifying racist with no pretended respect for the constitution or liberal democracy. Basically a nice face to Nick Fuentes. I don't see any return to the never-Trumper neocons. These people are painfully boring and offer nothing. No matter what, Trump cannot be replicated and his brand of Republicanism is dead without him. The only way you're going to excite people is going ultra far-right.
