Sorry you were having an episode. If it was a woman who didn't know you (and maybe some that do) they may think it's a bit faggy and question your reasonings. But my boyfriend shaves his legs sometimes; at first I thought it was faggy and questioned his reasoning, but after he spoke about it, and said it was because of sensory issues or like having an episode and feeling unclean, it's like suddenly not faggy anymore and I prefer him with leg hair, but I don't mind it when he shaves.
So to answer your question, it depends. Probably wear jeans until you're willing to explain
