Found out I got disowned by my dad's side of the family and they pretend I never existed. It's kinda really hard to comprehend why someone would do that to a 6 year old child after spending time with them but I suppose people are strange that way. It did provide some sort of closure. I feel very at peace almost. I'm thinking of going back to therapy to talk about it anyways.
