Pretty comfy because I'm not an awkward nervous wreck anymore. If anything goes wrong it's easy to remain calm and not care much.

Sometimes it's great, being able to think about times that were objectively better by every metric. Other times, not so great, because of how bleak the future is and insufferable people from other generations are.

I hate that I have to manage my diet now. Like, actively count calories and make sure I'm getting all my vitamins and nutrients, and keeping my bowels regular. Your body just stops taking everything in stride at a certain point, and you have to start maintaining it yourself. And the maintenance only gets more expensive and time-consuming as you get older. And the worst part is: there's no short cuts to this. You can only make it less expensive later in life by starting active maintenance early, before it's really a problem. Proper diet and exercise while you're in your 20s and 30s will go a long way toward making your body easier to care for as you get to middle age and beyond, but that's still time and effort of your limited years on this earth spent on maintenance that you will never get back. The only way to cope is to convince yourself you enjoy exercising and enjoy eating healthy. Some weirdos actually do enjoy the tedium of bodily maintenance. I hate it, but I have seen what bad health does to people in old age, and I'd rather inconvenience now than debilitating decrepitude in my 50s and 60s.

I'm really torn on this one. t. 35. I need to either start taking care of myself, or go all in on not taking care of myself and start deathmaxxing. Either way the elder normalfag path of not thinking about it results in being alive for a fairly long time but unbelievably decrepit, which is the worst outcome

I'm also mid 30s, and the adjustment to a healthfag lifestyle is miserable. Get a dietician and talk to your doctor about it, they can help set you up on a bunch of preventative care stuff. I have already lost weight and my poos are regular and smooth, though. There's something to all this.

Not even 40 and I have a fake knee, back pain, and digestive issues.

>your doctor
I'm not even here yet, I haven't gone to a doctor other than the dentist for like 10 years or more and the last time was an urgent care clinic inside a walgreens to get a sick note for work

one day you wake up and realize you no longer have any potential to be anything more than you are. that's when you become old.

I don't want to get old man
>>
i'm middle aged. i bought a $50 chinese gameboy clone earlier this year with a built-in library of every retro game and i can get as much candy and hot cheetos as i want. it's fun. i love it, don't get me wrong. it doesn't thrill me the same way it used to. i'm preoccupied with politics and economics and careers. sometimes it strikes me how fucking awesome my life is but i don't enjoy it as much as i should. because i'm frantically worried about losing it. i may be depressed. but also. after 30 you start getting medical problems and it's total body horror, first person gore. they torture your teeth and cut you open to do surgeries and shit. people your age start getting cancer. your parents die. it's a mixed bag

Well at 42 unemployed neet who just sits at home playing videos games & jerking off all day everyday, it gets pretty shit after a while.
Basically just waiting to die while you have to watch everyone else with their kids, families & having a nicer life.
Pretty much anything past 30 and it's over.

Tbh though I don't want a girlfriend but I would like someone to cuddle & suck my dick. I don't want to "work" as you goys call it, I'm not a slave. We're all just waiting to die ultimately
