This seems perfectly reasonable, why did it make people so angry?
>>
because we all went to high school and we know that nobody cool was trustworthy or well adjusted either. if anything, thinking anyone was cool in high school is way worse. this guy is obviously just lamenting days where he felt important.

probably because these BAPtard jewish faggots sit on twitter discussing gay politics all day then larp as jacked white guys
>>

my cope complex is not being willing to trust women

He seems cool to me. I think its a you problem.

I know this gets thrown around a lot but this guy is almost certainly brown, just from the old money country club themed LARP. The calculated ragebait for maximum engagement (and thus maximum muskbucks) isn't helping.

>people who weren't accepted by social groups and normie hierarchies are distrusting of both

You didnt know any cool guys in high school.
>>
>>85329102
I mean, yeah. It's kinda why trauma of any kind or degree is make or break. You either learn fundamental things about human and your own personal nature, or you become a complete faggot coward and shut down.
>>
If you still think about high school past like 23 more than like a couple times a year you have some kind of complex whether you were cool or not.
>>
>>85329102
He's right, but also most people just weren't cool in high school anyway, so unless someone was cool, they come off as something of a choosing beggar when they judge other people for this stuff rather than accommodating the ways other people are fucked up, when they themselves are fucked up too

I don't disagree entirely, but it leaves out a lot of important nuance.

He's right about how being ugly/uncool can lead to a lot of cope, making you awful to associate with. Look at the trans community: who are the insufferably reflexive ones talking endlessly about their bullshit "identities", and who are the cool ones going out and just fucking slaying? "Why are the ones who are the most obsessed with gender putting in the least effort to look like a woman?" This isn't necessarily the case, but the tweet's phrasing allows for exceptions.

The nuance is that many people do, eventually, accept themselves and come to terms with their lot in life, this, according to developmental psychology, typically happens at around the age of 35, with an important caveat about people who "peaked early". Very few people stay cool and attractive, and it's around 35 where your reliance on such superficial factors for social success become more obvious. At around 35 there's a switch, the people who were uncool, coped, and subsequently had to develop the self-awareness to overcome their copes, are now extremely well equipped to handle not being cool or attractive, whereas the people who relied on being cool and attractive typically begin that same process here (and, due to the way neuroplasticity decreases with age, are less likely to have long term success in this regard).

Give me uncool in highschool any day. If you can avoid killing yourself before your thirties, you'll probably have a better life.

Regrettably, though, I was extremely well liked in highschool, and now I'm 37 posting on 4chan.

Would Sociopaths be immoral and emotional? And where would they be on this rock, paper, scissors graph?
