TUI is still GUI, just more annoying to use

I have a weird autistic tendency where I like to stay as close to upstream as possible.
So with distro's I'd never use cachy over arch, or nobara over fedora, or mx over debian, and so on.
Don't ask me to explain it, it's autism.
So when I see betterbird with all its features, apart of me tells me to not deviate from the source.

Why would you bother going to /r9k/? Just ask /g/ and you'll probably get better answers.
>>
Why do you need to use an email manager like this? Autism, or...?
Just use the website nigga

What if he has multiple accounts for different purposes/identities? Would you just walk through all the websites just to check your mail? Also some websites have built in spam, that you can't ignore, but you can filter in Thunderbird.

>ask /g/
>the most tech illiterate place on the internet

I assume people who never used them ask these questions.

>giving Thunderbird even an ounce of consideration
>has no idea about Thoverbird
You can still jump into traffic, anon. It's always an option
>>
>>85330126
This is why I just use proxy emails tied to cheap domains that can forward everything to my primary email.

Some people get work email anon. You're forced to use it other than your regular email. Just nice to have everything organized in one window.

>Thunderbird or Betterbird
I choose Icedove
>>
it literally says "better" right in its name
>>
Unless you wanna use fl*tp*ck or install it from the AUR in its current state, you'd have to compile betterbird from source.
Thunderbird is just more convenient since it's in every repo in existence.
>>
>>85330655
proving "better" is subjective
