Why are trees so expensive? It's not like they're printed by the federal government. People always say "it's not like x grows on trees", but it's not like fruit is inexpensive, so either that saying is retarded or fruit prices are: Either way, there's been an error.
>>85408297They take a long time to grow and sometimes need quite delicate conditions. Human life is quite cheap nowadays and that includes you.
The good thing about having short hair I suppose, is that I can get away with going a lot longer without having a shower.Anyway I still feel the ghosts of all the animals I've ever eaten crawling on my back. I might be going back to minimizing my meat intake since those little animals aren't helping me achieve anything great right now. Maybe I need to devise a system of actually being getting a bowl of oats every morning or something as a baseline.
>>85408768>The good thing about having short hair I suppose, is that I can get away with going a lot longer without having a shower. How long do you typically go without showers?
>>85408862Nowadays it's basically just whenever I feel like it's been a while since I last had a shower, but I had recently been in a period where I was going a couple of times a week to avoid my hair looking too greasy. So yeah idk about once or week give or take a few days now. I think maybe I had one between the eclipse and now but I can't remember.
>>85408768Breakfast is for the birds. All you need is a glass of milk or whatever. Just make sure you get a decent lunch, otherwise you'll feel dead by 3pm. At least that's how it always was for me (i blame the education system).
>>85408930How often did you take them when you were together with your ex?
>>85408972Whenever she felt like it I suppose my general rule was that so long as I hadn't had a shower the day before. I was only in her country for a total of about 5 or 6 months over the course of two years and on the road for half of it so it's not like there was much pattern forming to be done. >>85408960Getting a decent lunch ain't easy, at least if I don't wanna break the bank. What am I gonna do, food prep? Anyway speaking of, it's bed time for me, and so soon! Tick tock goes the clock.
>>85409086I have so many more questions now.
>>85409086>What am I gonna do, food prep?Yeah. Make a big old fucking VAT of something, and take it to work in a thermos. I don't know what the set up is like over there, but you could probably bring your own electric kettle in, if need be, and that alone opens up a lot of options. If you a big batch of oats, or rice, or anything like that, it's much better to warm up with a little bit of boiling water than a microwave. And if you want to avoid intensive meal prep, you could order a big box of miso paste, and make miso soup without leaving your desk. And i know from eggsperience, you can even poach eggs with it. You don't need a ton of calories, you aren't working construction, mostly just fat and protein. You need vitamins and minerals too, of course, but usually not too much in the moment, it's more about accumulation there. I say that, but don't take it too seriously, everybody's body is different; you'll feel it out as you go.
>>85408297When the saying was first coined in the 1800s it was more common to pick or grow your own fruit rather than buy it

People like to talk about the differences between East and West, but it tends to be that talk is all it is. I've been replaying Yo-Kai Watch 2 this past week or so, and have been reminded of how 8 is the magic number of there, which is a real difference, because all of our magic numbers are odd, while they prefer even. There is an exception to this, but it's the same exception. We have 4 elements, and they have 5. Not only do we break the pattern in the same place, but we both attempt to amend the discrepancy, in the west by way of the magical 5th element, and in the east by treating the 5 elements as in a sense accidental to the 4 cycles they facilitate.

[81] The form in which Christ presented the content of hisunconscious to the world became accepted and was declaredvalid for all. Thereafter all individual fantasies became otioseand worthless, and were persecuted as heretical, as the fate ofthe Gnostic movement and of all later heresies testifies. Theprophet Jeremiah is speaking just in this vein when he warns(ch. 23):16. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the wordsof the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain:they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of themouth of the Lord.25. I have heard what the prophets said that prophesy lies inmy name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.26. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets thatprophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of theirown heart;27. Which think to cause my people to forget my name bytheir dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, astheir fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.28. The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; andhe that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. Whatis the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord.Have you silly dreams, I got the word! And that's like, better! - Jeremiah

Maybe tomorrow I'll post a vocaroo. MaybeAnyway time for Joong to wall dump over 6000 characters on us for [82][82] Similarly, we see in early Christianity how the bishopszealously strove to stamp out the activity of the individualunconscious among the monks. The archbishop Athanasius ofAlexandria in his biography of St. Anthony gives usparticularly valuable insights in this respect. By way ofinstruction to his monks, he describes the apparitions andvisions, the perils of the soul, which befall those that pray andfast in solitude. He warns them how cleverly the devildisguises himself in order to bring saintly men to theirdownfall. The devil is, of course, the voice of the anchorite'sown unconscious, in revolt against the forcible suppression ofhis nature. I give a number of excerpts from this ratherinaccessible book.>*ahem*
40 They show very clearly how the unconscious wassystematically suppressed and devalued. There is a time when we see no man and yet the sound of theworking of the devils is heard by us, and it is like the singingof a song in a loud voice; and there are times when the wordsof the Scriptures are heard by us, just as if a living man wererepeating them, and they are exactly like the words which weshould hear if a manwere reading the Book. And it also happens that they [thedevils] rouse us up to the night prayer, and incite us to standup; and they make apparent unto us also the similitudes ofmonks and the forms of those who mourn; and they draw nighunto us as if they had come from a long way off, and theybegin to utter words like unto these, that they may make laxthe understanding of those who are little of soul:-"It is nowa law unto all creation that we love desolation, but we wereunable, by reason of God, to enter into our houses when wecame unto them, and to do fair things." And when they areunable to work their will by means of a scheme of this kind, they depart from this kind of deceit unto another, and say:"How now is it possible for thee to live? For thou hast sinnedand committed iniquity in many things. Thinkest thou, thatthe Spirit hath not revealed unto me what hath been done bythee, or that I know not that thou hast done such and such athing?" If therefore a simple brother hear these things, andfeel within himself that he has done even as the Evil One hassaid, and he be not acquainted with his craftiness, his mindshall be troubled straightway, and he shall fall into despairand turn backwards.
It is then, O my beloved, unnecessary for us to be terrified atthese things, and we have need to fear only when the devilsmultiply the speaking of the things which are true and thenwe must rebuke them severely. _ Let us then take heed thatwe incline not our hearing to their words, even though they bewords of truth which they utter; for it would be a disgraceunto us that those who have rebelled against God shouldbecome our teachers. And let us, O my brethren, armourselves with the armour of righteousness, and let us put onthe helmet of redemption, and in the time of contending let usshoot out from a believing mind spiritual arrows as from abow which is stretched. For they [the devils] are nothing atall, and even if they were, their strength has in it nothingwhich would enable it to resist the might of the Cross.41And again on another occasionthere appeared unto me a devil of an exceedingly haughty andinsolent appearance, and he stood up before me with thetumultuous noise of many people, and he dared to say untome: "I, even I, am the power of God," and "I, even I, am theLord of the worlds." And he said unto me: "What dost thouwish me to give thee? Ask, and thou shalt receive." Then Iblew a puff of wind at him, and I rebuked him in the name ofChrist. ...
And on another occasion, when I was fasting, the crafty oneappeared to me in the form of a brother monk carrying bread, and hebegan to speak unto me words of counsel, saying, "Rise up,and stay thy heart with bread and water, and rest a little fromthine excessive labours, for thou art a man, and howsoevergreatly thou mayest be exalted thou art clothed with a mortalbody and thou shouldest fear sickness and tribulations." ThenI regarded his words, and I held my peace and refrained fromgiving an answer. And I bowed myself down in quietness, andI began to make supplications in prayer, and I said: "O Lord, make Thou an end of him, even as Thou hast been wont to dohim away at all times." And as I concluded my words hecame to an end and vanished like dust, and went forth fromthe door like smoke. Now on one occasion Satan approached the house one nightand knocked at the door, and I went out to see who wasknocking, and I lifted up mine eyes and saw the form of anexceedingly tall and strong man; and, having asked him "Whoart thou?," he answered and said unto me: "I am Satan." Andafter this I said unto him: "What seekest thou?" and heanswered unto me: "Why do the monks and the anchorites, and the other Christians revile me, and why do they at alltimes heap curses upon me?" And having clasped my headfirmly in wonder at his mad folly, I said unto him:
"Wherefore dost thou give them trouble?" Then he answeredand said unto me: "It is not I who trouble them, but it is theywho trouble themselves. For there happened to me on acertain occasion that which did happen to me, and had I notcried out to them that I was the Enemy, his slaughters wouldhave come to an end for ever. I have therefore no place todwell in and not one glittering sword, and not even peoplewho are really subject unto me, for those who are in service tome hold me wholly in contempt; and moreover, I have to keepthem in fetters, for they do not cleave to me because theyesteem it right to do so, and they are ever ready to escapefrom me in every place. The Christians have filled the wholeworld, and behold, even the desert is filled full with theirmonasteries and habitations. Let them then take good heed tothemselves when they heap abuse upon me."Then, wondering at the grace of our Lord I said unto him:"How doth it happen that whilst thou hast been a liar on everyother occasion, at this present the truth is spoken by thee? And how is it that thou speakest the truth now when thou artwont to utter lies? It is indeed true that when Christ came intothis world, thou wast brought down to the lowest depths, andthat the root of thine error was plucked up from the earth."And when Satan heard the name of Christ his form vanishedand his words came to an end.>Ahh noo, im shrivelling up and coming to an end, I'm satan btw aaaaa

>>85420878>250 questions for a mistypeWhy would anyone do this instead of reading the Jung anyways
Reading the Jung is a lot of reading
It's really not that much reading.
It's shorter than The Lord of The Rings
I don't know about that, Jung has a lot of writings.
But we're just talking about Psychological Types, not his complete works, but even then, comparing complete works + letters, i bet Tolkien has more.
But a lot of his work is an extension of PT.I'm not counting his letters.
Yeah according to Google PT is only about the same length as fellowship of the ring. Baby numbers really
How many anons have even read a book as long as fellowship though?
Reminder this is literally how centaur lives.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=M6U35hmvdcQ
Ah good, the time of darkness finally encroauches
[83] These quotations show how, with the help of thegeneral belief, the unconscious of the individual was rejecteddespite the fact that it transparently spoke the truth. There arein the history of the mind especial reasons for this rejection, but it is not incumbent on us to discuss them here. We mustbe content with the fact that the unconscious was suppressed.Psychologically, the suppression consists in a withdrawal oflibido. The libido thus gained promotes the growth anddevelopment of the conscious attitude, with the result that anew picture of the world is gradually built up. The undoubtedadvantages accruing from this process naturally consolidatethe new attitude. It is, therefore, not surprising that thepsychology of our time is characterized by a predominantlyunfavourable attitude towards the unconsciousYeah I'm like, not going to really read that last bit and just take's Jung's word for what the point of it all was here. But basically people withdraw their libido from the little voice in their head and instead just accept the collective consensus? We also just gotta accept that there's undoubted advantages to this, so that's why everyone in the modern age is a conformist?

[84] It is easy to understand why all sciences have excludedthe standpoints of both feeling and fantasy, and indeed it wasabsolutely necessary for them to do so. They are sciences forthat very reason. How is it then with psychology? If it is to beregarded as a science, it must do the same. But will it then dojustice to its material? Every science ultimately seeks toformulate and express its material in abstractions; thuspsychology could, and actually does, grasp the processes offeeling, sensation, and fantasy in abstract intellectual form. This treatment certainly establishes the rights of the abstractintellectual standpoint, but not the claims of other quitepossible psychological points of view. These others canreceive only a bare mention in a scientific psychology; theycannot emerge as independent scientific principles. Science isunder all circumstances an affair of the intellect, and the otherpsychological functions are subordinated to it as objects. Theintellect is the sovereign of the scientific realm. But it isanother matter when science steps over into the realm of itspractical application. The intellect, which was formerly king,is now merely a minister-a scientifically refined instrumentit is true, but still only a tool; no longer an end in itself, butmerely a precondition. The intellect, and along with itscience, is now placed at the service of a creative power andpurpose. Yet this is still "psychology" although no longerscience; it is psychology in the wider meaning of the word, apsychological activity of a creative nature, in which creativefantasy is given prior place. So when you apply science you're doing a psychology? Something about Sheldon Cooper from the big bang theory bullying Leonard for having a doctorate in applied physics. He'd never ease off on him for Jung comparing psychology to applied science lol. >Why yes Leonard your Applied Physics is just as scientifically valid as Jungian psychology>*Bazinga*
cont.Instead of using the term "creative fantasy," it would be justas true to say that in practical psychology of this kind theleading role is given to life itself; for while it is undoubtedlyfantasy, procreative and productive, which uses science as atool, it is the manifold demands of external reality which inturn stimulate the activity of creative fantasy. Science as anend in itself is assuredly a high ideal, yet its consistentfulfilment brings about as many "ends in themselves" as thereare sciences and arts. Naturally this leads to a highdifferentiation and specialization of the particular functionsconcerned, but also to their detachment from the world andfrom life, as well as to a multiplication of specialized fieldswhich gradually lose all connection with one another. Theresult is an impoverishment and desiccation not merely in thespecialized fields but also in the psyche of every man who hasdifferentiated himself up or sunk down to the specialist level.Science must prove her value for life; it is not enough that shebe mistress, she must also be the maid. By so serving she inno way dishonours herself.Jung Malding over not being a real scientist I guess. Anyway reading this mad me feel ill for some reason I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's because Jung gives off sex offender vibes. Maybe it's his disdain for specialization which is the most beautiful thing in the world.

[85] Although science has granted us insight into theirregularities and disturbances of the psyche, thus meritingour profound respect for her intrinsic intellectual gifts, itwould nevertheless be a grave mistake to impute to her anabsolute aim which would incapacitate her from being simplyan instrument. For when we approach the actual business ofliving from the side of the intellect and science, weimmediately come up against barriers that shut us out fromother, equally real provinces of life. We are thereforecompelled to acknowledge that the universality of our ideal isa limitation, and to look round for a Spiritus rector which, bearing in mind the claims of a fuller life, can offer us agreater guarantee of psychological universality than theintellect alone can compass. When Faust exclaims "feeling isall," he is expressing merely the antithesis of the intellect, andso only goes to the other extreme; he does not achieve thattotality of life and of his own psyche in which feeling andthinking are united in a third and higher principle. This higherthird, as I have already indicated, can be understood either asa practical goal or as the creative fantasy that creates the goal. The goal of totality can be reached neither by science, whichis an end in itself, nor by feeling, which lacksthe visionary power of thought. The one must lend itself as anauxiliary to the other, yet the opposition between them is sogreat that a bridge is needed. This bridge is already given usin creative fantasy. It is not born of either, for it is the motherof both-nay more, it is pregnant with the child, that finalgoal which unites the opposites. What is up with Jung's obsession with sex anyway? I didn't think I'd be this disgusted by his writing. He can't even write about the application of science with two hands. All I can do is chuckle to myself "Spitonthis erection" and sip on a hot chocolate to feel a little less violated.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xby5467EbdU

And we are back! Caved and using a more modern version so now the text is weirdly HD because I deleted my old install and can't be bothered to work that out again. Even though every bone in my contrarian body resents it, ENFP makes a lot more sense, funny that Virginia just explained that witches are supposed to be a bridge between the non-human and human worlds, and aint that just a J*ngian intuition? I wonder how much she sticks with it? Maybe I was picking up on an overdeveloped tertiary function.
>>85442561Here's the bit I'm actually on. Basically Beato just agreed to sit in the naughty corner because she's too mean and made Battler cry again and she overuses saying "nuh uh" which paints herself into a corner and also apparently isn't a qualified enough Witch to play with Battler. INTP - exhausts possibilities, disproving them one by one to find the singular truth. Other types find it difficult to understand, they like to frame people's actions as motivated by "hoping" and "fearing" rather than searching.
>>85451174Why must you associate such superficial traits with typology? When in reality, these two things do not share a relationship beyond mere correlation.
>>85451249Why is that superficial? It basically grinds down to what Jung said about introverted thinking. It's a different way of approaching the world. What about anybody'e personality wouldn't just be "superficial"?
>>85451446It's superficial because it's not typologically relevant. Any type could take that same approach, simply because it's not a structural observation of type. It's just a superficial behavioral trait which has no real relevance to type other than correlation. It's equally as superficial as saying ENFJ's are nice. It's also not how Jung describes introverted thinking. Mainly because Jung doesn't describe functions from the perspective of behaviors. He doesn't say "x function does y behavior". He describes it from the perspective of psychological structure. You've confused typology, which is the description of the structure of a persons psyche, and the behaviors a person exhibits. These are two separate things that do not necessarily share a causal relationship. The behavior being described should not be assumed to be a direct manifestation of the typological structure of the psyche. Especially when looked at from a Jungian perspective. Because he doesn't use the behaviors as definitions of functions or types. The behavior is used as an example of what a specific function might look like. You could find an ENFJ who exhibits the same traits you're describing while also being cold and harsh, and you could find an INTP who is nice and doesn't exhibit the behaviors you're talking about. That's why they're superficial. Behaviors are surface level. Typology and functions are structural. There is certainly a correlation between the two, but correlation alone doesn't establish a causal or constitutive relationship. Do some INTPs do that? Sure. But, that should not be used as the definition of what it means to be an INTP, or even a thinking dominant type.
>>85451586I don't disagree but why did you take 1600+ characters to write the same thing multiple times?
>>85451586>Although he will shrink from no danger in building up his world of ideas, and never shrinks from thinking a thought because it might prove to be dangerous, subversive, heretical, or wounding to other people's feelings, he is none the less beset by the greatest anxiety if ever he has to make it an objective reality. That goes against the grain. And when he does put his ideas into the world, he never introduces them like a mother solicitous for her children, but simply dumps them there and gets extremely annoyed if they fail to thrive on their own account. His amazing unpracticalness and horror of publicity in any form have a hand in this. If in his eyes his product appears correct and true, then it must be so in practice, and others have got to bow to its truth. Hardly ever will he go out of his way to win anyone's appreciation of it, especially anyone of influence. And if ever he brings himself to do so, he generally sets about it so clumsily that it has just the opposite of the effect intended. He usually has bad experiences with rivals in his own field because he never understands how to curry their favour; as a rule he only succeeds in showing them how entirely superfluous they are to him. In the pursuit of his ideas he is generally stubborn, headstrong, and quite unamenable to influence. And so on and so on. So I guess none of that is any more superficial than saying INTPs prefer to exhaust possibilities one at a time to find the singular truth rather than be motivated by hope and fear?
>>85451736It's not the same thing multiple times. I can grant you it's a bit sloppy, since it's effectively an unedited stream of consciousness. Because I'm more interested in making a point than appealing to the collective consensus of what looks nice. >>85451769This is very, very different to what was originally posted here. One (this) is the general description of an attitude, the other (post) is the attempted defining of a type by a limited set of superficial behavioral traits. So, no. That quote is significantly less superficial. By a very large margin. Two very, very different things. If you take that quote, what Jung is describing is a person who is intellectually "fearless", no idea is too scary to explore. But at the same time is extremely anxious and fearful about objectifying their ideas and making them "real". Which runs contrary to what you're saying, they're extremely motivated by hope and fear. Just like all people. But again, this isn't the definition of thinking or the introverted thinking type. He's not saying "all introverted thinking types are like this". He's using it as an example to illustrate the underlying psychological structure of the introverted thinking type.
>>85451893> The IT type will hardly ever go out of his way to get anybody, especially important people, to appreciate his ideas, and when he does it will usually be so clumsily that he makes them appreciate his ideas less.Ah you see now this is not X type does y behaviour because Jung said it!>INTPs have a way of thinking that prioritises discovering "pure singular truths" by the elimination of alternative possibilities. What is this superficial drivel and why is anon trying to force it into our pure art of typology on /mbti/ general on /r9k/?Anyway I'm not that anon pretty sure he just made one post then left. I'm just his complimentary contrarian lawyer he gets for posting in this thread .
Also haven't actually read most of your posts yet lol just taking my chances to phonepost from work. Maybe you do make good arguments I wouldn't know lmao
>>85451893I think you misunderstood my intent. I wasn't trying to set limits on your behavior. Rather, I meant to contrast the INTP's cognition with other types'. Since one can't read minds, you can only look for patterns in behavior to guess whether two personalities are similar or not.One problem INTPs describe is isolation. My opinion is that this is because their cognitive functioning is perceived as unusual, not because they are trying to isolate themselves.
>>85452755To build on this, normalfags usually go into a pattern of feeling -> idea -> behavior. For INTPs, it goes more like idea -> another idea -> action -> synthesize former thoughts to get more ideas -> develop a feeling about your idea -> get tired of it and pursue a different possibility. But norms don't connect with the whole flight of ideas, so they think the behavior and feeling is just craziness.
>>85452529>Anyway I'm not that anon pretty sure he just made one post then left.I kind of figured you weren't him.>What is this superficial drivelIt's a stereotype which bears some truth, and has been used as a replacement for the definition of the structure of the underlying psyche.>why is anon trying to force itSeems to be quite obvious to me. Because it's easy to understand. Saying "x type does y behavior" makes typology simple and easy to understand, while making it easy to slap superficial labels on themselves or others. It's unironically a cope way of reinforcing their own self identity as whatever type they prefer, while placing a barrier between other people and their preferred type.People love defining themselves with superficial traits they have because it negates the difficulty of real self exploration. "I don't smile, that means I'm an INTP and people who do smile cannot be INTPs because INTPs don't do that!">>85452755>I wasn't trying to set limits on your behavior.I didn't assume that's what you were trying to do. I was primarily just pointing out the differences in the quote you posted, and the claim of the one anon. The quote uses behaviors as a scaffolding to get at a deeper understanding of someone's psyche. While the other makes an assertion of type based on a superficial behavior.>not because they are trying to isolate themselves. It's almost entirely because they isolate themselves. It's part of what Jung was talking about in that quote: >>85451769
>>85453063>People love defining themselves with superficial traits they have because it negates the difficulty of real self exploration. >"I don't smile, that means I'm an INTP and people who do smile cannot be INTPs because INTPs don't do that!"It's not a bug, it's a feature of typology. A type always offers a way to label yourself and everyone else, even if we were just using extraverted and introverted. And those types have to describe something one way or the other, be it specific behaviors or vague allusions/examples of how a person of type X would do Y.I bet it was one of the many reasons for why Jung didn't want to push his types much(he made sure to insist in saying that "categorizing people in types means nothing at all"), since they would get in the way of understanding, both of yourself and others. It's really annoying when people just go "oh I do X because I am Y and have X and Z traits/disorders", with no further inquiry, as if you were born with your entire psychological profile already written in stone, and external factors such as experience/environment didn't influence anything. And, more importantly, as if you were a perfectly static entity who couldn't possibly change for the best, or even the worst.Unfortunately, he couldn't prevent anyone else from taking his work and misusing it.
>>85453448It's not a feature of types, it's a bug. But it is a feature of the psyche, as much as one even can call a psychopathology a feature and not a bug, that is. Jung even calls it "degeneration of the individual" in PT.Those types of behaviors may be annoying, but everyone does it. Everyone keeps aspects of themselves in the unconscious as a means to preserve their self identity. A lot of people believe that things are out of their control, even their own self. "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate."- Charls BlumgWhich, somewhat ironically, perfectly describes the predicament a lot of incels are in.
>>85453063I guess I disagree with Jung then. "Being impractical" isn't necessarily what logic about, it's just a consequence that can follow from focusing only on logic, and a way to recognize the type in the wild, a behavioral description equally superficial as saying ENFJs are "kind," and that also contains a value judgment.
Jax's dominant: Ne or Se?
>>85454099Reducing thinking to logic is not the correct way to look at it. Feeling is also logic.I also don't know why you're bringing impracticality into the equation. Beyond that, I don't really know what you're trying to say here.

>>85454155Maybe I replied to the wrong anon. I believe you said that INTPs are motivated in the same ways as other types and that no type can be described by external characteristics, while I was arguing the opposite.>feeling is logicBizarre claim
>>85454943You're replying to the right person, but you've fundamentally misunderstood what I was saying. You can describe a type with external characteristic or behaviors. You cannot, however, define a type by those characteristics. You can absolutely say "this ESTP likes playing sports, and that is likely related to his preference for extroversion and sensation."But you cannot go from there to "Because he plays sports he is an ESTP/Se type. Everyone who plays sports is an ESTP/Se type. Or if you don't play sports you're not an ESTP/Se type."The relationship between playing sports and extroverted sensation may be correlative, but the correlation alone does not establish causation. You can however extrapolate from this individual ESTP example his psychological structure which guides him towards sports, and use that to build a model of understanding of how/why that psychological structure manifests that specific behavior/tendency.The basic claim is that you cannot infer a typological structure from a single behavior simply because the behavior happens to correlate with it.A particular psychological structure may produce specific behaviors. But that doesn't mean you should, or even can, claim that those behaviors are a constitutive factor of that specific type. >Bizarre claimIt is absolutely logic, though. It's just not a logic that produces truth or facts. "Anon called me a mean name, so he's a fuckface." This is a feeling statement. And you can clearly see the logic in it. Feeling doesn't operate on random impulses. It operates on reasoning, just like thinking. Just draws a different type of conclusion. Simply put, value judgements use logic.
>>85455122>"Anon called me a mean name, so he's a fuckface." This is a feeling statementThat's thinking."Anon called me a mean name, I hate him" would be a feeling statement.
>>85455148It's not a thinking statement. Whether you call him a fuckface, a bad person, a douche nozzle, or whatever, the premise remains the same. It's a judgement about the agreeability of his statement. "I hate him" is a statement about the emotional affect anon's action produces. It's effectively saying "Anon made me feel bad", which is also a feeling statement. A thinking statement would be something like "Anon called me a shitlord". There is no valuation about anon's statement. It's not mean, it's not good, it's not bad. It's just what he said. The moment you attribute things like right, wrong, good, bad, mean, nice, etc. You enter the realm of feeling.

It would make me cool.>>85454103I couldn't finish this series. All I remember about the rabbit is he is mean and I don't like him. Probably an ENTJ more than anything since he's so neurotic about not being in control or whatever.
