I wonder if the DEI push in my company ended because seniors realised that it's impossible to have an intelligent business conversation with these coons and results were starting to suffer. Whatever the reason, it's refreshing to hear a CEO say 'we are equal enough and are going to deprioritise unnecessary peripheral activities' on an all-staff call last week. Morning, morning, morning, lads!
What's happening? What did you get up to over the weekend?
I got GTA V again for my PS4, so I played some of that on Friday night. I have a mod pack for it so it's way better than the last time I played, loads more fun.
Went to the theatre on Saturday with my girlfriend, two mates and their wives. We watched The Full Monty. It was a good laugh.
Can't wait for the Queen musical and Les Miserables, Grease, Matilda and The Phantom Of The Opera.
I'm pumped for more GTA later.

i forget how it works in the card game, their types go off those Energies i think? but some of the ones you've posted are weird, all "Lad's Pidgey" and then it's some mad Fire Pidgey or something.

i remember they had a legal battle with Uri Geller over picrel. but just Kadabra, specifically (his Japanese name is Yungerer and he bends spoons).
so there was this whole mad exception just for the TCG, where Abra could skip past Kadabra and evolve into Alakazam.

maybe the children's hedgehog films aren't 'important'
but imagine if they made a Fifa 98: Road to World Cup game, and it only had the opening bars of Blur's 'Song 2' then just went 'WOO-' before switching to a symphonic version.

depends on your telly me lad. in the 2010s i remember trying a few different Chinese gizmos that CLAIMED they could play media files from a USB stick (even .mkvs, even up to 1080p, whoa!)
and they often struggled. then tellies would claim they could do it, could they shite. view photos, maybe play like a 360p .wmv, but not films.

nowadays i think they just can. we finally hit a sensible point, if your telly is newish? they are decoding/playing video files anyway, really.

maybe go find the PDF of your telly manual and see if it supports the format you'll LEGALLY acquire it in (probs H264 + AAC in an MKV container)

i mean that's essentially what i'd want (maybe Freeview for 'normal' telly, and the menus for that).

but people then buy 'sound bars' and shit. like i think i basically do just want a large computer monitor. connecting to the wi-fi and letting you watch Netflix? makes sense. but tbqh i just want a television.

i might be in my own head, lad.
but i've had a go on people's Smart TVs. it's like you point some wiimote at the telly, go through menus, load up Netflix (and it's software on a proper OS, so it all takes time to load up).

idk man i really do just want a display to play video + audio and MAYBE that includes broadcast television.

heard people talking about e.g. the cheap Xiaomi TVs even having ADVERTS on a DEVICE YOU OWN. so i guess you have to root them, or something...? a telly.
>>
>>85412605
I don't like how they collect so much data. Plus they're slower than normal tellies. My mother's telly you boot it up and you have to wait half a minute before it even reacts to remote inputs. Fucking ridiculous.

i liked Turkey overall, it's like those Soviet places if they were sunny.

but i always remember reading the leaflets and sometimes they'd have a map similar to picrel, saying where Brits should and shouldn't go, basically. do you risk cheaper hotels, if it means you could get caught in a car-bombing? how far east are you WILLING to go?

the early 2000s were a crazy time.

yes i do. i've shown /britfeel/ my system.

cans go in the foil-lined bags (because they're metal.)
paper and card goes in the normal paper bags (or sometimes boxes, but boxes can also get torn/crushed up and placed in the bags.)

i've been going outside more so i can (and do) take these down to the bins, but the communal recycling bin gets full up (the other blocks clearly save up their recycling and it's usually full by day #2).

also then crows get into the recycling bin since it doesn't have a lid, and they toss food wrappers everywhere. nothing i can do about that but try to put my metal recycling on the top, which makes it more difficult for them.

A younger person is cheaper to employ. I have a long gap of employment (I haven't worked since early 2010s). McDonalds is actually hard to apply for now - it's one of the "better" minimum wage jobs. Warehouses often require own transport and they prefer immigrants who don't know their rights (immigrants have a lot more to lose like being deported from losing a job).

Fuck even bothering to work. Even a fucking volunteering role require references.

Anybody who isn't living in a cardboard box on the street is well-off. I am not in a cardboard box myself I'm in my own fully subsidised flat bills paid by other people food clothes pop drugs internet paid by other people in return for me sitting on my arse. But if anyone works for a living and has more than me they are well off and spoiled and I deserve it too.

Also there's a difference between the sort warehouses and the actual last mile delivery depots, guarantee there's one closer, but either way you're still a thicko dosser, you'll always find an excuse even if there was a job next door

Just on my way to mcdonalds. Lot of npcs getting in my way today. I can feel my forehead tingling.

I also have a lot of opinions about how the society I don't contribute to should be run and how the taxes I don't pay should be allocated. Well of course I do.
>>
>>85414063
I am not going to drive. I don't have a driving licence. It's far too expensive for a dosser like me to get one.

>>85414076
There isn't one here. I checked on the careers site. There's a few industrial estates and car showrooms...that's about it near me. Everything else is shops, which somehow I never see on Indeed or local jobs sites.

Excuse me. What about a hot tuna cheese melt?
What do you have to say for yourself now?? hm?

i know we all argued recently about whether gravy is a sauce (no.)
but could i suggest, somewhat, that melted cheese is SAUCE-ADJACENT?
>>
>>85414094
They're not on the career's site, what did I literally just tell you, those are the sort warehouses
You do it through this then it shows you the local last mile depots where you'd go for your training and that

americans call tomato sauce gravy

I actually get paid so much for sitting on my arse I have plenty to spend on crypto, drugs, alcohol, constant food and takeaway deliveries, so as you can tell my life is very hard. This is in return for me doing absolutely fucking nothing btw. People who can afford to make monthly payments towards their car because they actually work 8 hours are so spoiled compared to me.
>>
i'd hate to be any sort of tram/train driver.
like we all have that 'call of the void' when a train/metro pulls in, like you could just jump.

what if one day there's some drunk lads blocking the line in front of you, and you just think 'fuck it'?

Lad show me where I said you've NEVER once worked. I said you are, present tense, a feckless indolent layabout. Which you are and have been for years. I didnt say "did you once have a job 15 years ago, in that case its fine to just doss off and never work again after 30". You're acting like a fucking muppet on purpose because you've got no actual response you lazy grifting scrounger.
