Has anyone bought a phone the last few years? I am trying to get a new one and want to hear experiences
Unrelated but I hate having g ocd
>>85416563I bought a moto g 2025 last year around this time and the phone is pretty ok except for how easy the screen was to crack. The cracks don't interfere with anything I do though so I just ignore it. The battery life is alright too and it charges really fast with the charger it came with.
>>85416998Thanks will look into it, any eye strain/vertigo?
>>85416563My phone was $40 at Walmart. Works fine

No SD slot on anything ever again, but instead of the 32gb storage model for $500 extra you can get something with 64gb. Not economical though because it's $525 extra for 256gb or $900 above base price for the 512gb version. Usher & 2/gb is not horrible. But they really want you trusting them to keep your data and trusting you will always have perfect internet and cell service and nothing ever going wrong at any time ever for any reason for even a fraction of a second ever.Since it's the current year I'm sure the chances of something not working exactly like it's supposed to with no issues is unlikely to happen, so it's worth it so the phone weight.0.3288g lighter. Your wrist and pocket will enjoy the substantially decreased burden. Unless you live in a tinfoil tunnel at the center of the earth the entire planet has perfect coverage so the only real issue left is software. Thanks to elite human capital from India manning dev teams combined with the power of Ai code problems should be the least of your worries.>-sent from my Samsung brand Samsung s galaxy universe Z g69 n420 67 giga ultra(256gb model) limited edition mystical jet graphite black color model year model with special Israeli installed ied pager explosive battery edition model
>>85416563I got a re furbished z flip 5 a year ago and I love it. Flip phones are so coooool. It was $400 at the time but now it's just over $300. Which is a steal considering new ones are like a grand and hardly any different
>>85417011I always have the night light / warm light on max for all my devices so not really? I don't really feel any but it could be different for someone not using the warm light settings. I also have my brightness around 80% or lower (at night).
I spent hours trying to decide between the pixel 10a and 11 even though it doesn't fucking matter; I'm still undecided
>>85416563Samsung A56Relatively good I think
>>85417117Do you get vertigo from the pwm I got it from the a36

>>85416563Mine has been surprisingly durable. I had it for years
>>85417100i got the 7, but i'm thinking of getting the 8 because it'll be the last one they ever make.
I got an iPhone 16 for cash when my iPhone XR battery went to shit. Finally got smart Siri and it's fine I guess. It's a decent phone
I got a CMF 1 second hand and its pretty good for the price. 120hz screen and it has an SD card slot. No NFC though :(
>>85416563Nothing Phones are a gimmick phone with shitty software
>>85416563i have a new samsung on the verizon 5g network i got 5 months ago, the funny thing is , i live in kind of a small remote town now and apparently there arent many 5g towers in range, so even tho i have a good phone and supposedly the best service, i always have 1 fucking bar and cant do shit on the internet or even text people most of the time. its stupid
>>85417100My son has had nothing but problems with Samsung flip phones, but it may just be himI inherited an iPhone 15 after using my iPhone 7 for about 10 years. I don't use 90% of the stuff on it.
>>85417381Flip phones are definitely delicate. You cant just toss them around like a normal phone. Its a tradeoff
Also do any of you use glasses
>>85417367I don't know what you are saying exactly
>>85416563the phone market is shitfuck apple for getting rid of the headphone jack and fuck samsung for getting rid of the microsd card slot
>>85418647CMF 1 is a phone made by a company called nothing, he just forgot to reply to me
>>85416563I have a Xiaomi Poco x7 pro, in my country it was dirt cheap and better than even the best mid range samsung
I like my iPhone 12, they're super cheap at this point but I think they'll stop getting software updates soon. I only use it as a work device so I can't say anything about any fun features, I just like how solid and straightforward it is. I've literally never seen an error message or felt like I was using a product that disrespected my time/sanity. iPhones are like the Debian of phones.
