>Be me as a kid>Not exactly a picky eater but there were a few foods that I literally could not eat without gagging>And it just so happened that my normie parents loved these foods and made them so often >They'd force me to eat whatever they made, no matter how long I sat at the table begging them to let me eat something else>Even if I offered to prepare it myself, they wouldn't let me have an alternative>They'd get mad at me for gagging even though it's an involuntary reflex>Sometimes they'd do the old "you don't have to eat it now but it'll be the next thing you eat" thing, but I was always able to outlast them on that>Even as an adult they judge me for eating foods I like and altering recipes to fit my tastesWhat is it with normies and food anyway? They always throw a ton of unnecessary shit into perfectly good food and act like you're the weird one for preferring simple food.
>>85417003That's just sadistic.
>>85417003>another autistic food preference threadits all so tiresome.
>>85417003you have autism OP
>>85417028I've been suspecting that. Sometimes I wish I'd been diagnosed as a kid. Maybe my life would've turned out better.
Come to think of it they probably didn't realize the gagging was involuntary and they just thought I was being overdramatic.
>>85417066I've just paid to get assessed as an adult, hopefully I get diagnosed so I can tell any future employers to not put me anywhere where i need to interact with people
>>85417086>so I can tell any future employers to not put me anywhere where i need to interact with peopleThey'll just fire your ass and get an employee with the same qualifications but who isn't an autist
I have eaten fries nearly everyday of my life since I've eaten solid foods, I'm 30 this year. It was one of the only things I would eat as a child, I air fry them now to reduce my oil intake but I base all my meals around them as a base.
>>85417092That's fine by me welfare is good in my country, as long as I make an effort the government will leave me alone
>>85417092>Even as an adult they judge me for eating foods I like and altering recipes to fit my tastesfree lawsuit, at least in the US lol
>>85417003My grandmom once saw made me a bread with some meatstuff on top and I had trouble eating itLuckily she recognized it and said I didn't have to eat so I didn't. Thank you Irmhild :)
>>85417103>free lawsuitLawsuits aren't "free", ever. They'll cost you plenty of time and money. Not to mention you'd have to be able to prove that they fired you for your "disability", which you can't, unless they are stupid enough to outright say it was for that reason.
>>85417136Sometimes ambulance chasers will do that "you don't pay unless we win" schtick but I have a feeling there's some fine print to that.
>>85417241Usually they don't directly charge you for their service but they leave you to pay other legal expenses
>>85417003i sympathize with u anon. ive moved out now and only omad candy and yummy food like bread and plain rice. am not fat but i may die early and is ok. at least i am happy desu
>>85417003Being a picky eater is symptomatic of autism. You're parents are cunts, OP.
>>85418309I'm not really picky though, I just have a few foods that make me gag. It just so happens that one of them (onions) is the one thing that my parents decided belongs in literally fucking everything.
