What a waste. If I was making clothes I'd be designing shit like long skirts with actual pockets, frilled blouses with straps used to hang rolled up sleeves or completely detach/replace parts of clothing like sleeves, decorations etc using buttons and zippers hidden under frills, matching belts with leather hip cases. We'd have bunch of decorated hats and we'd compromise between sexy and comfort by keeping heels, but making them thick for better support, and low to not put as much strain on legs.
It's tragedy that most people were such shit clothes because good looking clothes are impractical to wear or wash, so little actual good clothes are made due to not being profitable. And if there are some clothes with potential, it's ruined by being made with shit breatheless, shiny material for cheap cosplay instead of linen for example.
