Gender is a trojan horse with the intention of creating a split in an individual's identity. When this split occurs and the individual feeds into their new altered state, that new dominant personality takes over and is reinforced by the person's ego and pride. This is what's wrong with transgenders. That is the basis for how gender identity disordered individuals are made. The situation becomes even more so dire when that split occurs through trauma. Just sorta took my systems theory and applied some basic analysis and bada bing, I cracked gender identity, but this likely applies to more than that. Identity is a lot more than just gender, it's ideas, ideologies, etc.
