Streaming is the most barebones slop churned out by the most insufferable people ever.
How do people actually enjoy this shit?

I'll watch a video of someone playing a video game if they're doing things at an impressive high level that I couldn't do myself. That's the same reason people watch sports.
Watching them for any other reason is just cope for being lonely and feeling like you have a friend to hang out with and play games with.

I think it's fun to watch someone stream a very very hard game, because then you can be more confident they aren't cheating. I used to like playing XCOM and hard XCOM mods a lot, and I also liked watching other people play it. Many of the people who uploaded ready-made videos to youtube were very obviously cheating on their ironman runs via covert save file saving and swapping. It's much harder to cheat on stream.
