Whether I like her back would depend on whether by "ugly" you mean "not conventionally attractive" or that I myself find her unattractive. If it's the former, then it's entirely possible, I would feel attracted to her. Even if I don't feel it initially, I'd be willing to see how the date goes and whether the feelings blossom forth. However, if you mean the latter, then it probably wouldn't work out. I'd try to let her down gently, but I know that it would still hurt. If she wanted to be friends, then I'd be open to that. If not, then I would also understand.
