Is it true that mix of bleach and hydrochloric acid is deadly?
>>85422006yes it makes Cl2, a deadly gas almost intoxicated myself a few month ago because I didn't flush the toilets properly, also works with vinegar
>>85422020So if you inhaled it would you die instantly?
>>85422035no, it kinda destroy your lungs and makes you die slowly in more than a day I think
>>85422006>>85422020>>85422035>>85422075anyone who has ever worked on pools has breathed in chlorine gas or at least HCl fumes. it stings your nose and makes you cough, but unless you are locked in an airtight chamber filled with fumes it's just a temporary irritant. it's an extremely unpleasant way to die though
>>85422075More than a day? Some news articles say it's instant.>>85422096So if you're in a tight area would it kill you?
>>85422006I did this to myself when I was a teenage maintenance worker nobody bothered to train cleaning a small enclosed bathroom. I accidentally created a gas chamber but only ended up with a headache for the rest of the day, that was it.
>>85422123>So if you're in a tight area would it kill you?Eventually. It chemically burns all the mucuous membranes in the airway and lungs. If you get a light whiff of it, your nasal passages sting and you get a sore throat and runny nose. If you inhale deeper it will burn your lungs. The more you inhale, the more it burns, and the more fluid is released by your body. If you inhale a lot and manage to get to fresh air, you will still basically suffocate from lack of oxygen in your bloodstream + fluid in the lungs. It feels like slow and extremely painful drowning combined with suffocation, no matter how much you breathe. Very nasty.
>>85422123it burns your lungs and eyes quickly if you inhale a lot but it takes a while to die from it
>>85422172This >>85422168 guy says it's not deadly.
>>85422035To tell you the truth:It would be extremely painful
>>85422254See my other post >>85422096It's not nerve gas. It injures via chemical burn, and the secondary injury occurs when fluid is released from damage mucuous membranes. The more you breathe, the more damage it does. You might end up with some irritation or a bit of lung damage or fatal lung damage.
>>85422123>Some news articles say it's instanNothing causes instant death except firearms/explosions/detonations. Even electrocution takes some time, seconds even at very high voltages.
>>85422457>>85422467Which easily accessible chemicals kill you the quickest?
>>85422530Nitrogen
>>85422606So what should I do? Just drink it?
>>85422657nitrogen is typically a gas you dumbfuck zoomer
>>85422712I don't know anything about chemistry sir.
>>85422006Do not try it. Even if you don't breathe it, it can peel your skin off and slowly poison you. There was a poster on /k/ testing out a gas mask and died that way.
>>85422883Do you have the archive link of that thread?
>>85422932I'm at a loss. I tried but I can't find it.
