What is the term for "fascism" that can be used in fantasy movies (.. etc) to describe similar structure and power to avoid people complaining how "this world is not real you can't use this world here"?
>>85422572* this word here
>>85422572authoritarian, tyrannical, autocratic
>>85422584those are generic words, fascism is more specific and modern too
>>85422597I'd say that those terms are much more specific in describing a government than fascism, which is basically a nebulous Boogeyman
>>85422572Tyranny>>85422597well but is it specifically fascist but also not-fascist...?
>>85422572Honestly fascism is a postmodern imitation of tryanical societies from the past, so it really can't exist in a preindustrial fantasy setting. The Spartans for example were for all intents and purposes the same type of society as the confederates, but that comparison is rarely for basically the same reason.
>>85422572monarchy or dictatorship king, emperor, etc
>>85422597would "despot/despotic" work for you?
>>85422572"collectivism" is a pretty good catch-all for all the communism/socialism/fascism left-wing ideologies.Do you actually know what fascism is and what defines within the ecosystem of leftist collectivism, or is it like >>85422607 says and you just want a fnord?
