Why are colleges and universities so antisocial compared to the movies of the 90s and 2000s?
>>
Covid fucked normies up. Everyone got addicted to screens and social media, and lost a bunch of social skills, due to being trapped inside.

Because everything is antisocial compared to the 90s and 2000s. We're living in a much lower-trust society now and it's only getting worse

Definition doesn't really apply since most "colleges" are comprehensive/multidisciplinary these days, but back when there was a significant difference, a university was a collection of multiple colleges where you could learn several different subjects at one campus.

>Why is real life not as exciting as a movie
College may have been more or less social I have no idea but regardless people still actually spent a large amount of time studying and working. They just don't show that in a movie because it's not fun to watch. You're like those people that move to New York and complain that their life isn't like Friends.

Yeah. I am tired of nigger-tier hedonistic culture

I went to college 2004. Made friends instantly in my first orientation class with a girl with big boobs. Then meet a cool guy because he liked my Unearth T-shirt. Then Facebook was rolled out and I made multiple friends on that because they're were like 500 people on it at the whole school. Invited to dorm rooms to drink the first weekend. House parties soon after. It was a breeze. Everyone drank and we even made special efforts to get people's nerdy roommates to come out to parties. There was this one autistic guy that like 30 of us were inviting our every weekend and making sure he felt welcome.

But you have to realize everyone was white and kind. There were assholes at frat houses but that was a totally different scene. Nerds, hippies, indie people were all hanging out having a blast. iPhones came out around 2007 if I remember correctly. That might have been the end
