I live under a city housing voucher which covers upto 5k in rent, but it wasn't easy to obtain. I only got this housing unit out of luck in a raffle. I'm the youngest tenant in my building and the only young adult here without an arrest record or drug history. My neighbor deals drug from her apartment, the cops have came kicking on my door thinking im her a couple times. the nigger neighbor to the right of me is also a junkie who blasts his speaker on my wall. the management here are useless clowns who fucked up my small portion of the rent 3 times and tried to squeeze more money out of me. I live in a singe tiny studio apartment without its own oven (cant bake anything) and when I moved here the building fire alarm would go off every other day and night or upwards of 7 times a day due to junkies passing out in their rooms.

Prior to living here I lived in shared housing with 3 niggers in the deadzone of the hood for 2 years. Nigger1 was a gangbanger with aids so I had to constantly wipe down the bathroom, knobs, fridge door etc. Nigger2 was a dumb weed smoking thieving nigger who kept leaving the oven/stove on and nearly burned down the house and stole from me. he was a lying piece of shit. Nigger3 was a drug addicted mystery nigger who would come and go randomly. legit would not see that dude for months but somehow his rent was still being paid. Prior to those 3 the only ''decent'' roommate I had was a guy my age who worked with computers but otherwise kept to himself. though he was a bit of a two faced scamming weasel too. dude always left a huge puddle of flammable grease on the stove frying shit and his girlfriend was a fucking creepy weirdo that spied on me in the shower.

prior to that I lived in various shelters, one was a ''revamped'' hotel during covid that was ran like a low security prison and the staff routinely harassed us or made us do humiliation rituals for basic supplies, threatening to kick me out because I dared to put my grocery bags on my rooms table like it was a big joke. the nigger lady who worked there the first 4 months I called ms ratchet, she was the nastiest bitch ever had to deal with. She would do random inspections at 3am to wake us up, dig through our fridge and make us take our bed sheets off to check for contraband. That place had the most retarded nonsensical rules I wish I just stayed at the old shelter. you weren't allowed to shut your door and had to sleep with a roommate, the former of which was an old guy I mostly got along with... he was an alcoholic with moodswings whatever. the latter was someone who should have been in a fucking nuthouse. he was a purely psychotic individual who threatened to kill me, others, the voices in his head and laughed like a lunatic on his bed at night. it was also full of black mold and spiders everywhere too. Yeah that's really unfortunate, I live in a studio apartment now so I most definitely don't want to go back to living with roomates. Hearing your stories makes me not want to live in public housing. I have been NEETing for 3+ years now but would like to work again just to save up money for later on in life so I don't have to deal with any of that crap.
