Sure, you don't. The system has got you covered, and so it has your trust, as was the plan. But you can lose all of your earthly possessions in a matter of minutes. The issue is the type of person who leans this way is inevitably some flavor of schizo. Most are not entirely incompatible, but for a full blown compound you'd want everyone to agree to the whims of a benevolent dictator. Anyone who wants it bad enough and has the skills to pull it off or limp through an attempt has figured out how to get $50k or whatever and bought at least a little land where they don't face risks of getting voted off the island. There is also the problem of geography. Some people like lakes, mountains, desert, north, east, south, or west. People go where they like/can afford.
I've come to the conclusion you're more likely to shake hands with an amish, mennonite, or random forest schizo than find another 4channer. They'e out there, spread kind of apart. Obviously you are more likely to meet one in a dirt roads rural area than in a big city/suburb like San Francisco or Houston. I'd suggest going to farmers markets, textile fair, or livestock auctions with a pedobear pin and start randomly calling people niggerfaggots. I'm sure there are other secret handshakes that can be deployed which carry a lower risk of getting your ass kicked, but you probably know that much already.

This is based. I feel like technology can have its advantages, though, if you self-host your shit and use open source alternatives rather than relying on big tech. For example, instead of use Windows, use Linux; instead of using iPhone, use GrapheneOS; instead of using Netflix, use Jellyfin. That type of stuff. You could also setup a private mailbox and use a VPN to mask your location. It's still a good idea to have some form of technology so you know what's currently happening in the world. However, you're completely right about social media and how it should be ditched. That shit has very little, if any, advantages.

It's possible to get this through work. A $5 pair of kneepads and then suck 60,000 dicks for $1 each. It would be humble beginnings, but the start is always hard if you don't have fat pockets. That five dollar investment became five acres, it's something one can be proud of.
Cut down trees and build a tiny shack using post frame construction. There's fancier options but this is doable with one man tools. Metal roof to catch rain, rinse the taste out. Solar panels, lagoon, basic plumbing, appliances, this adds $10-$15k to the cost.
Then you only need $999,999,999 more for lawyers and paperwork because the five acres bought are located in downtown Manhouston Angeles instead of the remaining 98%+ of America that doesn't require permits/inspection/code. But then jobs are a problem because the only people with dicks live in San Diego and there's no money to be made in nursing, diesel mechanic, or other icky jobs like that.
