I'm legit addicted to F5/refresh gambling. I'm a phone user of the internet, but even in my laptop days it's the same thing. The refresh. The F5. It's like a gamble on what novelty will come next. That's why 4chan is so utterly addictive. It's endless novelty just by refreshing. And it's like a slot machine because most of the time it's shit but occasionally it's a gem. Or you bink a (you) farming jackpot. But now I also refresh reddit. It's not the same on reddit though because I just open the app and the "gamble" is whether I get a red symbol on the notification button. BINK! Someone replied and I can go read their response. I've also been making youtube videos lately and it's the same thing. Open the youtube studio app and check if I got anymore views, likes, or comments. And then when all those gambles aren't paying off I hop on tiktok and swipe gamble for novelty. Just swipe swipe swipe hoping for something good. Refresh refresh I'm like a rat in a cage repeatedly pressing a button that pays out like 1 in a 100 times. It's fucking retarded really. But I'm an addict.
