Do you miss being a kid?I hear a lot of people say that do but I honestly don't. School made me miserable and I was pretty lonely. At least now as an adult I have my own place, can eat what I want when I want, can drive wherever I want to go, can do pretty much anything I need or want to so long as I'm not working. The only thing I really miss about being a kid is running around soft plays like a maniac
>>85429013Yeah I do miss being a kid I miss being careless about things and I must be more curious because I didn't know as much as I do now I remember being very young exploring the concepts like Free Will and determinism I've always liked space and the planets I remember watching videos about the Kepler stuff I had an intense fixation on making my own sword like weapons from stuff people would leave on their curb Lake Middle poles or shovels or microwaves I would take them apart and I would make a double bladed swingy sword shovel or something After that I would go battle out with the neighbor boys and they like that I made my own they made their own inspired them There was a line of trees and I used to go in that line of trees and I completely renovated it into a second home I cleared out all the bush and the branches and I added chairs I added stringy fairy lights and I added my own toaster and fake oven in there where I would pretend to flip breadI remember going to school and not learning anything at school and then going home and learning more than I learned at school I saw school was more of a place for social interaction then learning and I also just couldn't register with the teacher was saying I would doze off in class and think about other things I had a pretty traumatic childhood besides all the good stuff it was very very rough but there was still good stuff I remember about it

I miss certain things but would rather be an adult. As a kid I had infinite free time but didn't really use it for anything useful.I had no discipline and couldn't stick to anything for more than a week or two.I'm not saying everything you do needs to be "productive" but as an adult, though I have less free time, I have the discipline to use it for things that are good for me, or that I really enjoy instead of just fucking around all day.I also have the ability to follow through on things like creative projects or home improvement and actually finish what I start.
being a kid feels greatbeing at the mercy of everyone around you/circumstance not so muchbut you will never have pure fun and pure emotions as you had as a kid
I miss my brief innocence, not my childhood.
>>85429013The world seemed brighter then. Like literally a lot more colours
>>85429013I will bump this one now as well
>>85429013I only miss my bodily youth, my much greater potential to improve my health & appearance, and not having the obligations or responsibilities that I have now. Everything else was fucking terrible as a child, and my childhood was wasted due to having absolutely no guidance or useful knowledge of my own. Of course none of that would matter if I just had good parents, because then I wouldn't have so many problems to fix throughout my childhood and adulthood. Pretty much everyone's worst enemies are their parents, and it's a lot worse than most people realize
