Something I've noticed before is a type of zoomer

They are not actual social outcasts or autists or weirdos maybe they browse 4chan once a month for an hour or two and know what a Pepe meme is because they benjoy the occasional hippy YouTube video essay so they allow themselves to enjoy the label of niche because they know knowledge not a lot of people do

Possibly they've seen all of the Chris Chan lore and actively use discord

This genre seems to be more specific to zoomers who want to differentiate themselves and seem unique and quirky by using words like oh I'm so based in esoteric guys you don't know what that means that means I'm niche

The one millennial I had met who had autism and asked me what boards I browsed just seem to be like yeah I used 4chan a lot back in the day I'm still a loser but I just don't have the time anymore it was fun back then he told me all about the pranks and stuff when we were discussing internet culture

But that type of zoomer didn't seem like that it was more so a trying to not be like other girls thing

Yeah they were all female now that I think about it perhaps there's males out there but it was three that all acted the same

They tended to be very overly eccentric characters and did have some kind of neurodivergency but most of their internet activity is spent on entertainment algorithms such as tick tock or Instagram

They did have quite a large group of friends and a decent social standing in them as well as studying something in University or a decent job perhaps both

It's just another kind of normie I guess I've only seen like 3 of them but they all acted the same

It's quite interesting how people try and form their identities around certain things and how they want to be perceived by the world
