I'm laying in a field with my shirt off relaxing in the Sun and feeling the dry grass in cold breeze

It's quite a remote place but I do see some humans in the distance and I'm observing them

What I wonder is how do traffic lights change colors I'm assuming it's some kind of timer system I wonder what time interval traffic lights change colors in or if it's more motion or sensory activated
