It's soon time for election in my country, how has your pattern of voting changed throughout the years?

Personally I only vote for my own interests now. I couldn't care less about families or single mothers who can't make ends meet because I'll never have a family of my own. That's their problem, as is every problem that doesn't affect me. Abortion etc. What doesn't affect me doesn't concern me. The environment is another thing that I don't care about. In my lifetime nothing will change regardless of how much or how little my small country contributes to global warming.

Even though you're right about the environmental bullshit and all the rest, you're still a massive faggot for voting in the first place

I vote for whatever gives more rights to the people and fewer to businessmen.

We've been doing this mercantilism shit in the west for the last 400 years and it's only consolidating power at the tip top of the wealthiest businessmen who may or may not be altruistic (usually not). In the 1600s it was tea and spice merchants and now it's tech bros creating evil software to replace and kill us.

Money too quickly turns to power. Democracy should be completely divorced from money. Businessmen can sell whatever the fuck they want, but the second they cross over to government they need to be punished. No more "donations", no more SuperPACs, no more what are essentially bribes at all. Make bribery in any form punishable by expulsion or extreme financial penalties.

I was apolitical until Trump. I was going through a bad time and the mania he whipped up gave me something to care about. The high wore off by midterms of his first term. I still voted for him 3 times because no better options.

I've been greatly disappointed by his second term. Now I'm disillusioned towards politics and firmly believe the USA is an economic zone ruled by a uniparty funded by shady actors.

Probably won't vote again
