I know the meme is that all we eat is hot pockets and pizza or whatever but desu Ive been getting into cooking a lot recently.
The raw ingredients are cheaper than door dash and Ive been able to make a few things I genuinely enjoy.
Also some thing are easy and require relatively little trial and error.
Dont know why no one ever taught me this when I was a kid but the secret to bacon is 234. You put the pan on medium then once its heated up takes about as long as it takes for curig to make a cup of coffee you put the bacon on for two minutes, the flip it and leave it for 3 then flip it and leave it for 4. It works even with a relatively shitty pan and whether you like crunchy bacon or chewey bacon some of the bacon will turn out chewey crunchy.
Once youve cooked the bacon there should be enough grease in the pan left over that you can fry a couple eggs. Crack the shells and just drop them in should only take about 3 minutes to cook.

Anyone here chatting about doordash is LARPing. Only richfolk can order a private taxi for their burrito. Folks here are eating ramen with eggs for protein or other various shit that can be bought with neetbux / snap
>>
>Made Italian sausage with peppers and onions for dinner and brought leftovers to work for lunch
>Co-worker says "did you microwave something with peppers and onions?"
>Say "yeah, does it smell bad? Sorry."
>No anon it smells really good, where did you get that?
>I made it, it's my mom's recipe
>Co worker was flabbergasted, started asking me how I cooked it, how I seasoned it, and said he's gonna make it for his wife now.
Feels good man

I let myself get Doordash once per week at most. If I do it any more often I feel pathetic and wasteful.

Yeah agree.
I didnt start doing this to pleas normies and I dont do it now for the sake of relating with normies but it is something you can talk about with them which they will respect you for which is a nice side benefit.

Is how I like them if you no like them this way cook for longer.
Also I when I fry eggs in butter I do season them but I find bacon grease alone gives enough seasoning to the eggs and additional salt isnt really required.

You are wildly underestimating the foolishness of goyim. You must be white and male.

I am not "into cooking" I am against thirdies delivering food to my house, against paying premium prices for goyslop, and against betabuxxing for feminist whores therefore I often cook for myself.

>Snowing very hard, road conditions were terrible
>Ran out of groceries and was gonna get Chinese takeout for dinner
>Figure I probably shouldn't be driving right now because it's so dangerous
>Order DoorDash
>Realized I'm making some minority risk his life for ~$10 and a $1 tip
>Think about canceling the order but a driver accepts it
>Eat Chinese food
>Thanks Mohamed for valuing your life a lot lower than I do
>>
>>85435750
I stopped using DoorDash after thirdies who don't speak English kept giving me the wrong orders, though one time it actually benefited me
>Getting shit ready for a family gathering, don't really have time to cook
>Order sandwich on DoorDash. Just a sandwich, nothing else.
>Driver shows up, gives me a bag with enough Chinese food for a whole family
>Tell him it's not what I ordered, he just says "You're welcome" in broken English and drives away
>Bring Chinese food to family gathering and everyone thought I was so considerate for bringing enough food for everyone

an African immigrant who barely spoke English recently tried to deliver me a Temu shirt because he didn't understand that 1234 Incel Avenue could exist in two different cities at the same time.

I just cook really really basic food because I've found my body operates better from it

>sweet potato
>5% beef mince / steak
>broccoli
>bell pepper
>perhaps some spinach

is what I'll have for din dins, no condiments, no seasonings just straight up cooked ingredient. I just subside on meat/ fish, veg, some sourdough, milk, nuts, skyr, for fruit primarily apricots as they are my favorite
>>
>Stop drinking soda and eating sweets for a few weeks
>Eat fruit and it's the sweetest, most delicious thing I've ever tasted
>>
>>85435814
you telling me you feel better when you don't constantly ingest literal poison?
>>
>>85435831
well before I was eating the same but id put some seasoning or condiments on meals as I thought I could get away with that but I cant, have to go full skyrim npc food to feel what I presume is how a normal human should feel.

Unless I'm slopmaxxing with Little Caesars or something the only soda I drink now is store brand LaCroix. The Winn Dixie brand is the best for the money and the best flavors are lime, tangerine, blood orange cranberry, and grapefruit.

I dont go crazy with spices.
Ive found I can make it pretty just with salt pepper garlic powder old bay and Italian seasoning.
There are one things like steak and salmon that genuinely taste better with seasoning but after having experimenting with garlic powder and mashed potatoes Ive come to the conclusion some things are just better plain or rather better with a complimentary component like gravely rather then an additional spice

>>85435711
Sounds delish. I could probably impress normies with my chicken and rice.
