I'm thinking of seeking out a life coach. Are life coaches a meme? Or can they actually help? What's preventing me from just using AI as a life coach instead for free?
>>85437005life coaches are a meme because this is everyone's first time living
>>85437069Yeah but the wisdom and experience of others may be able to help through issues you're having, at least that's what I think happens
So I asked ChatGPT for some life advice and even without asking a lot of questions about me it attempted to give me some starting advice. I'm going to try out it's advice and see what kind of results I get but I still question how effective it will be without any foundational information to build off of. I don't have a ton of experience using AI so I'm not sure how good it's memory is with given information, whether it will start hallucinating or whatnot. I even asked it if it's advice was sound given the lack of information and it agreed with me... Do I just have to use my best judgement on any advice it gives or is there any other way to evaluate it's answers as being truly helpful or not?
