Being an ugly woman is a worse fate than being an ugly man. The focus on looks is greatly burdened on women in general, to the point that an ugly woman is hardly even seen as a woman at all. The beauty industry is booming for a reason. An ugly woman may get a guy to like her, but he will almost certainly be unhappy in the relationship because all men want beautiful women. And throughout life she will be treated lesser in almost all social environments and immediately counted out of opportunities that an ugly man can still get into off of his personality or money. Many men know that they will be alright as long as they're nice and have a decent paying job.
