What kind of things do men consider real hobbies?I like doing things like playing video games and reading books, but is anything that falls under consumption no good?

>>85439455>What kind of things do men consider real hobbies?Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. My hobbies are basic, vidya, movies, gym, shooting, and pen and paper games (D&D kind of stuff). You don't need the external validation of people that will give you shit for what you do to enjoy yourself in your off time unless it's actually bad for you like obsessive porn consumption, fucking everything that moves, or hard drugs. Most of the people here are spiteful mutants anyhow and trying to take life advice from miserable failures won't get you anywhere.
>>85439455Hobbies are just copes.
>>85439505>tfw no gf whos hobbies include obsessive porn consumption, fucking everything that moves, or hard drugs.why bother
>>85439520Go to a rave. Or a sex shop. Or a BPD help group
>>85439455I don't care about a woman's hobbies. In fact, it's better if she is not interested in something I am not interested in, so that I don't have to participate or turn down participation or accept a missed opportunity to share an activity.I only care that she's knowledgeable and reasonable and able to keep up with me intellectually. What I find interesting about women is their mind and personality, not so much what they can or can't do. If she's impressively creative in some medium then that'd be a plus.Actually, if she could do something I could enjoy watching her engage in, like poledancing, that's be an inessential plus.A woman is uninteresting/boring when she's got nothing going on upstairs or the wrong type of shit going on.
>>85439455Men are not allowed to have hobbies. Doing anything other than labor is wrong if you are a man
>>85439455In my opinion it's not about what you do at all it's about how seriously you take it.There's a big difference between a normie watching a movie and someone who takes movies seriously.Doesn't matter if it's consumption or creation. Those are just two sides of the same thing. One is meaningless without the other. Food needs a mouth. Everybody eats but not everyone has a deep understanding of eating and an understanding of eating entails an understanding of cooking. Depth is the only thing that matters here.Basically getting deep into something is just a sign of intelligence and that's what having a hobby is.Normies are stupid so they don't really have any hobbies no matter what they do. They're just existing and existing entails doing stuff. That doesn't make it a hobby.
>>85439455people get into videogames to the point where it stops being merely consumption and becomes and active hobby. if you're theorycrafting builds or speedrunning a game, its not really just entertainment anymore, its more like learning an instrument or riding a skateboard. either way, do whatever you like nigga, at the end of the day a hobby is supposed to be about your personal enjoyment
>>85439455The only hobby I hope a woman has is gardening. And sewing / mending / needlework, I guess. Baking, but it seems all women bake. I'm a better cook than most, so I'd rather do the cooking anyway

>>85439455>name some hobbies>never ending list of things you should be doing with your children>>85439518Shocked someone was brave enough to post this.
>>85439713i mean, why not? Those are attractive hobbies for a woman to have. I'd also include things like birding, chess or paragliding or fly fishing or whatever, but those things are more rare
>>85439455There are no real hobbies, they're all just things we do for enjoyment. However there's definitely hobbies that are seen as better or worse. Generally hobbies of self improvement (learning, exercise etc.) and hobbies of artistic expression (drawing, painting etc.) are seen as more valuable. Reading is usually seen as a good hobby, even if you're reading trash.
