Videos games are always villainized as being bad for you, but I think social media is far worse.Social media puts stupid ideas in people's heads and makes them miserable, especially ideas around dating for young people.People waste hours and hours on social media and just feel angry and sad afterwards. Also applies to this site some of the time too.Videogames on the other hand I think can be toxic, especially online competitive slop like league and CS. But a game like rollercoaster tycoon? Nothing about this game will make you angry, and it scratches an itch while keeping you entertained, it's pure classic entertainment in the human sense of "all my work is done, now let's find something to keep me occupied". When humans used to dance around a campfire or listen to orchestras it was the same kind of thing. Entertainment is meant to just be a simple thing that is guaranteed to make you happy, entertainment should not be putting ideas in your head or making you angry and miserable. Social media is not "entertainment", it's something far more evil posing as it.

I am too bored to play games I think I might meditate later. I tried to play Angels Fall First but barely anyone was playing and it's a multiplayer game. I have been playing skyrim vr and I killed a dragon with a bow and it was fun, in vr you do the bow thing manually. RCT 3 is based, I remember it had lights and night time I thought that was nice. Been playing animal crossing errday, I got all the animal crossings one of my favorite things. Might play ff 14 one day or even 11. Right now I am too bored. Also enjoy total war games I enjoy lots of games. I also watching anime and tv. I am a religiouscel now.

I've gamed heavily my entire life, it's taught me countless lessons that most people do not understand even if I tell them simply. It's led to such extreme levels of understanding that I'm almost an alien to the average person, I have such a deep ability to read people's motivations that I can effectively read minds by working their actions, reactions, and social cues backwards.Pattern recognition and critical thinking really just need raw experiences to work with to reach similar levels, and the mindset to ask why. People that blindly demonize video games are waving their lack of quality as a flag.

Its like puzzles or riddles, basically. Different people react differently to different vices. I could get pissed drunk and never touch alcohol for years and not miss it, but if I don't play vidya for a week I go crazy. Someone else wants to be drunk or high every day and doesn't care about vidya.Whatever takes most of your time is the worst, although an argument could be made that due to the sheer ubiquity and enormous reach of doomscrollable social media, it is indeed the worst vice around.
