back in 2015 videos like these would've gotten at least 4 million views, now we can't even crack a mil, we're so done for

no we're good. normies still think of 4chan as a Super Secret Evil Hacker site. it's funny cause i thought so too before i used it. now the REAL boogeyman is kiwi farms.
>>
4chan is the joke of the internet. What did you expect? Even the bait is insanely moronic. What once was the source of OC just copies normie memes anymore since 2016.

There was a kernel of truth to this during the internet hate machine era. Mind you, 4chan and /b/ in particular was mostly used for picking up raw numbers for Anonymous swarms during raids, which otherwise followed a power law of involvement wrt people on the partyvan network. It's also easy to come to your own conclusions about what was happening if you consider the newness at the time of cyberwarfare along with the open discussion of CFAA violations and illegal hacking that was taking place on the partyvan IRC

This place is almost identical to Twitter these days. It may not seem that way depending on your algorithm, but anything politics or video games-related is a 1:1 reflection, for example.

In fact, Twitter is a 'better' platform for shitposters (the thing 4chan is known for), since it has no rules against shitposting and shitposting/ ragebaiting is rewarded with engagement.
